[News] Parklife Weekender Manchester Announced. Flaming Lips, Justice, Crystal Castles and Many More Playing
Every year, Platt Fields Park in Manchester is turned into Festival Central with the Parklife Weekender playing host to some of the worlds top musical talent and the initial line-up has just been announced and boy is it going to be a fun weekend! Taking place on the weekend of June 9th-10th, Wayne Coyne will bring The Flaming Lips gang to headline the Festival along with Dizzee Rascal. Other acts announced include Justice, Crystal Castles, Noah and the Whale, TEED, Azealia Banks, The Rapture, Nero, Fake Blood, High Contrast, Gold Panda, Friends, Araabmuzik, Labrinth. Love Tinie Tempah's "Pass Out" and "Frisky" or Ms. Dynamite's "Neva Soft"? Well the mastermind producer of those tracks is back with another banger. UK's Labrinth is back with a new single titled "Earthquake" and has brought along his hitmaking collaborator Tinie Tempah along for the ride. Check out the video for the track above. [Watch] The Collective - "Teardrop" (Massive Attack Cover)
This years Official Children in Need track isn't some band performing with a comedian, or some joke single, it's a melting pot full of bubbling talent that's ready to be enjoyed. The track features Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32, Tinchy Stryder, Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Chipmunk, Ms. Dynamite, Rizzle Kicks, Mz Bratt, Labrinth and Dot Rotten! The group has been dubbed The Collective and they've taken on Massive Attack's classic track "Teardrop" and the simplistic studio video will make you stop and think with it's cutting and thought provoking imagery. Not sure on the song choice mind and if you are a big fan of Massive Attack the track might not be for you. Just sayin'.

Anyone who has been in a cave for the last year or just hasn't paid attention to the UK's Massive Hip Hop scene uprising has been missing out one of the biggest producers/singers to rise from the genre. Enter Labrinth, who has produced hits for Tinie Tempah, Devlin, Professor Green, Ms. Dynamite and more. Last year, Lab wow'd folks with his solo single "Let The Sun Shine" and last night he premiered his long awaited, highly anticipated second single "Earthquake" featuring SKoA favorite Tinie Tempah.
This new track marks the return of the chart topping duo who changed the scene with their hits "Pass Out" and "Frisky". However, this time around Lab is taking lead with Tinie guesting. Peep out this instant pop smasher below. Can't wait for Labrinth to drop his solo LP in the near future.

The queen of the UK Garage scene, Ms. Dynamite, returns with a brand new single titled "Neva Soft" produced by one of the UK's hottest producers Labrinth (Professor Green, Tinie Tempah, Devlin). The track debuted last night on Zane Lowe's show on BBC Radio 1. The track is set to appear on her upcoming long awaited 3rd LP Democracy, hopefully later this year. Check it out below!
[Watch] Tinie Tempah Performs a Medley at The Brits 2011 Feat. Labrinth
Last night it was The Brits here in the UK which meant the arrival of a host of celebs and musicians all under one roof! The night belonged to Tinie Tempah taking home the Breakthrough Act and Best Single for his 2010 hit "Pass Out". To add a cherry to the top of the cake that was the award ceremony, Tinie performed a medley of his hits with a little help from his good friend Labrinth. Check out the explosive performance up at the top and notice the grin on Tinie's face at the end. He deserves everything he's got coming to him in 2011 and more. Enjoy the performance at the top.
