[News] Kanye West's 'Cruel Winter' is "more of a rumor", Solo Album Likely
Ever since G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer was released last summer, there have been rumors of a seasonal pairing to the album titled Cruel Winter. G.O.O.D. Music artists have mentioned it, there were even teases of an accompanying documentary, but it seems all that was for nothing and Kanye West has moved past the idea. When asked by Vulture about the project, Common stated, "I don't think that's happening. It was more of a rumor — cats been creating, but everybody's been doing their solo album. So that's what that is."
Since Common is so sure that Cruel Winter isn't happening, it would make sense that Kanye is working on something else, right? Fake Shore Drive, a rap blog based in Chicago, hints at this, saying, "All I know is that there’s a gaggle of G.O.O.D. people in Paris right now working on something, and that something is likely Kanye’s album." If this is true, we may even see a new Kanye West solo album later this year.

[Watch] Common - "Celebrate" Live on Fallon
Common has been working hard since the release of his latest effort The Dreamer/The Believer. He kept up his grind with a visit to the studio of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to bring a performance of "Celebrate" which we also saw the official visuals for not too long ago. Peep the performance at the top featuring of course the help of The Roots via Mr World Premiere.
The Dreamer/The Believer is available everywhere now.
[Watch] Common - "Raw (How You Like It)"
Common drops the visuals for his The Dreamer/The Believer featuring track "Raw (How You Like It)". Common describes a couple of easy on the eye ladies that caught his attention in a bar. The story unfolds as he tries to woo them into his arms with a few hiccups along the way. Pretty cool looking video considering it wasn't that long ago since we saw his video for "Celebrate"!
If you've not copped The Dreamer/The Believer yet I'd highly recommend it. A stellar effort from common and all killer, no filler. FYI: Don't ask Common if he's Hollywood. You might regret it.
