[Listen] Korallreven - 'ONANDONANDON' (Mixtape)

After releasing their fantastic debut album, An Album by Korallreven, last year, Swedish duo Korallreven, consisting of Marcus Joons and Daniel Tjäder (of The Radio Dept.), have released a brand new mixtape. The mixtape consists of Korallreven's track "The Final Fantasy," which was let loose last month, alongside 12 other tracks that give off "a where-were-you-in-92 rave vibe." [Listen x Download] Star Slinger - 'JET JAM' Mixtape #1

If you're thinking of taking a trip to Solvenia in the near future, Manchester DJ and Producer Star Slinger may well have made it a little more of a want for some. He's to launch a brand new club night called JET JAM. He says:

Our goal is to simply throw parties where people let their hair down. We possess a burning world Influence & will be inviting DJ's from all over Europe to spin their eclectic selections. We can't wait to project the party we've had in our heads for so long! We don't care about genre, the BPM of the tunes, just having ourselves a merry-ass time.

To celebrate the announcement, Star Slinger took to his Soundcloud page and offered up the first mixtape for the parties. Mixed by himself you can download it below. More to come from this project no doubt.

It's only been a few weeks since we got to listen to Das Racist's Kool A.D. and his new mixtape The Palm Wine Drinkard but not to be left out, Heems has just dropped his NEHRU JACKETS mixtape which features some dope sounding guest verses. It features spots from Childish Gambino, Danny Brown, Action Bronson and  Mr. Muthafuckin ExQuire all of which sound big. There's not much more left to say other than jump over here to grab the mixtape and hit play after a quick unzip. It's 25 tracks and a cover of goodness. Take your time to enjoy this one.

[News] Childish Gambino Working on New Mixtape

Following the very warmly received album Camp late last year Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino has taken to his website to announce that we should see a new mixtape from the talent rather soon. At this time that's all he wrote but if like us you can't get enough of Gambino this will come as very welcome news. Peep the GIF he posted above along with the simple note:

There are few artists this year who rose to such unequivocal prominence in such a short span of time as Toronto R&B musician The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye. With only two mixtapes under his belt, The Weeknd has garnered attention all over, from the blogosphere to music fans to awards such as the Polaris Music Prize. As the year comes to a close, Tesfaye is giving fans one more treat in the form of the third and final mixtape, titled Echoes of Silence, in his mixtape trilogy. Featuring nine tracks, the mixtape starts with a cover Michael Jackson's illustrious "Dirty Diana," as well as "The Fall," which was produced by New Jersey hip hop/electronic musician Clams Casino.
