[Watch] Kanye West Unveils Dark Animated Video for "Black Skinhead"

Kanye West's first video for Yeezus isn't quite what I expected. The brooding clip for "Black Skinhead" shows an animated and very buff Kanye rapping in the darkness while lights flash and twisted imagery interjects. It's... interesting. Not nearly as cool as his black and white projections or the Scott Disick-starring American Psycho parody. Watch it below and let us know what you think.

UPDATE: Kanye took to Twitter to say that the video released was unfinished and leaked, and he was not happy about it:

While Yeezy was busy getting animated, former collaborator and producer Hit-Boy—he produced "Niggas In Paris" and "Clique"—has reworked Yeezus highlight "New Slaves" to his own liking. Check out the redubbed "New Chains" below with an accompanying music video.

In even more Kanye West tinkering, Nate Belasco mashed up "Black Skinhead" with Tame Impala's urgent, raucous number "Elephant." The two songs work amazingly well together, driving forward with relentless guitars and aggressive verses. Stream it below or download it here.

[Watch] Check Out Franz Ferdinand's Stylish Video for "Right Action"

Franz Ferdinand recently shared a new song from their upcoming fourth album Right Thoughts, Rights Words, Right Action, the catchy lead single "Right Action." The Scottish quartet have now unveiled a stylish video for the single. Glossed over with retro sheen, it sees the band teaming up with Jonas Odell for the first time since he directed the clip for "Take Me Out." For this one, though, they opted for bright primary colors and sprinkles of humor, all aided by some clever cinematography and crisp animation. Check it out below.

Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action is out on August 27th.

[Watch] Justin Timberlake's Video for "Tunnel Vision" is Definitely NSFW

Justin Timberlake's new video for "Tunnel Vision" is very NSFW, featuring numerous women whose clothing has mysteriously gone missing. Perhaps JT is commenting on the oversexualization of females in music videos, like Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" or The-Dream's "Pussy." Then again, he does project his face onto these women's naked bodies. You be the judge.

UPDATE: Despite the nudity featured in Timberlake's video, it has been deemed "artistically appropriate" for YouTube, ABC News reports. This goes against rumors that it would be pulled from the site. As such, the video won't be banned and will instead include an explicit content warning before viewing. Attaboy Justin.

The 20/20 Experience Pt. 2 is due out on September 30th.

[Listen] Ellie Goulding - "Burn"

The last we heard of Ellie Goulding was a brilliant cover of Alt-J's "Tessellate", but today she returns with a brand new track of her own. Titled "Burn", I'm definitely not feeling as much as her cover and it's not clear if it's taken from a new release or will be featured on a re-issue of her latest release Halcyon. We shall see, but for now you can see what you make of the new poppy track below.

[News] The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr. Releasing New EP in September

The Strokes' guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. made an appearance on Har Mar Superstar's "Nocturnal Emotions" podcast this week, revealing some exciting news. While the show typically "features long conversations with musicians, actors, artists, and other people of interest focusing on embarrassing moments in their lives and careers," Hammond Jr. took the opportunity to announce a new EP. While it's yet to be titled, the EP will include five tracks and is set to release in September through bandmate Julian Casablancas' label Cult Records.

That's all the info we've got so far, but I for one am really looking forward to this. Hammond Jr.'s solo work has always been good, but he hasn't released anything since 2008's ¿Cómo te Llama?—below you can check out "GfC," my favorite track from that LP.

[Watch] Hodgy Beats is Lonely in His New Clip for "Alone"

A month removed from releasing his Untitled 2 EP, Odd Future's Hodgy Beats invites us to share in his loneliness with the video for "Alone." The clip perfectly suits the title and lyrics of the track, finding Hodgy all by himself as he goes about his unorthodox daily routine. Whether it's hanging out in his cartoonish cardboard living room, lying on the grass or buried up to his neck in sand, Hodgy is all alone. Maybe he just needs a friend.
