[Download] Joey Bada$$ Drops Free New Mixtape, 'Summer Knights'
Joey Bada$$ took to Twitter on Monday morning to unveil his latest project, the Summer Knights mixtape. The mixtape includes tons of guest spots and producers, including Pro Era members and friends. Pro Era's Kirk Knight, Nyck Caution and Dirty Sanchez drop verses throughout. So do frequent collaborators Chuck Strangers, who also help out with production. Lee Bannon, Oddisee, The Alchemist, DJ Premier and more were also tapped for production, leading to a solid 17-track album. This is definitely a big step up for Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era. [Watch] Interact with Sigur Rós' Live Webcast, Stream their Latest DJ Mix
Dresden, Germany was the site of Sigur Rós' live webcast concert in celebration of Kveikur, a launch party of sorts. One month later, the webcast has made its way on to the band's official website. The interactive replay allows viewers to switch between songs, move around the stage with full 360° views, and zoom in and out. If you want to see who was in the front row, you can do that—would you really, though? Unless you or a friend was in the front row, that'd be kind of weird. Anyways, check it out here.
Sigur Rós has also been DJing under the awesome pseudonym Triple Nipple as of late. Explaining the moniker, the band had this to say:
triple nipple represents what sigur ros do when they are off-duty – you know, for fun. some of it may be tough, cool and futuristic, some of it will no doubt be high-aroma fromage. most of the cool stuff comes courtesy of sigrun jonsdottir, the band’s trombone-wielding authority on baltimore club. guitarist kjartan holm, meanwhile, pitches in with some minimal hip-hop, orri with some dubstep and, yes, you’ve guessed it, jonsi brings the extensive cheeseboard. no-one involved lays claim to be able to mix, even remotely. this is how sigur ros get down and unwind in the dressing room and on the tour bus after a show. if you’d like a window on their world, come on in. if you are expecting a mystique enhancing exercise of deep solipsism, look away now."
After performing a live DJ set for Boiler Room Berlin last week, they've now thrown together a mix for FACT Magazine. Check out the 55-minute mix below.
[Watch] Check Out Phoenix's Live Video for "Trying To Be Cool"
Phoenix take inspiration from the Rube Goldberg, one-take antics of OK Go, setting up an elaborately shot live video for "Trying To Be Cool." The band partnered with The Creators Project and the CANADA collective for the project, with the latter taking the director's helm. They pieced together a video that sounded stressful from its very conception:
In addition to a genius live performance of the track by the band, the video also sees two film crews tackling the impressive task of continuously swapping shots every twenty-five seconds. While one camera shoots, the other prepares the next shot; like a relay race, the cameras must pass the baton to each other to begin the next shot once twenty-five seconds are up, meaning if each camera is not set up, the video itself cuts to black. And if this isn’t pretty awesome in itself, the film crew and band are also, well, trying to be cool — each shot tops the excitement (and, sometimes, the absurdity) of the one before it. The resulting video, chock full of sparklers, confetti canons, fake money, a Marilyn Monroe impersonator, motorcycles, fake mustaches, and much much more, is unlike any you’ve ever seen."

[Watch] Lulu James - "Step By Step" (Official Video)
Late in June we were treated to a brand new track titled "Step By Step" from the soulful and extremely talented Lulu James. Today we get an eyeball of a treat from her in the shape of the official video for that track. Colourful and vibrant to match the funky track you can watch it above. Very much excited to hear some more from Lulu but for those of you wanting to purchase this single, it's released on August 12th via RCA.
[Watch] Check Out Highlights from Vampire Weekend, Alt-J, The xx, Tame Impala and Jessie Ware at Glastonbury 2013
Pilton, UK saw a flood of musical talent enter the Glastonbury festival grounds this past weekend, and it'd be a shame not to share some highlights with those who weren't able to attend.
Vampire Weekend performed songs both old and new. Before joining Mumford & Sons on stage for a cover of The Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends," they dished out great renditions of "Diane Young" and "A-Punk."
Tame Impala continued their exstensive festival circuit, burning through fan-favorite "Elephant" with as much passion as ever.
Alt-J were there too, causing an uproar of cheers with their intricate An Awesome Wave highlight "Breezeblocks."
The xx took hold of the crowd, performing their emotional and minimal single "Angels." They really are mesmerizing to watch. I witnessed this at Sasquatch!, and you get a good sense of it even by watching a YouTube clip.
Jessie Ware took things in a dancier direction, booming her vocals across the stage with a sensual rendition of "If You’re Never Gonna Move" (formerly known as "110%").
Check out all of these highlights after the jump, and check out more of BBC's coverage of the festival here.

[Watch] Arctic Monkeys' Full Glastonbury 2013 Set
It's Saturday which can mean only one thing, well, going with the past two weeks trend... Another Arctic Monkeys post. Last night the Sheffield band performed their second ever headline show at the world famous Glastonbury Festival and boy did they deliver. Revisiting the Pyramid stage, following on from their 2007 set, they played a hit laden set featuring cuts from their back catalogue along with opening the set with their new single "Do I Wanna Know?", rocking the 180,000 strong festival to its core. They were even joined by Miles Kane for set closer "505" and you can re-live the entire show below. The band have also recently enrolled the help of Dead Sons' lead singer Tom Rowley, or as Alex refers to him; "the white ranger" on keys for the current tour.
The band's new album, AM, will be out on September 9th via Domino and to support that they've just announced a UK arena tour set for October, dates of which can be found over here.
