[Listen] The 1975 - "fallingforyou"

We've spoken highly of The 1975 for about 6 months now and other people seem to be getting the message. They're yet to release a full length album but their new EP, IV, is just days away from release and the hype and fan base surrounding the Manchester band is palpable. A week ago we got to preview the subtle and ambient track "Haunt // Bed", a contrast to their singles but just as beautiful. Today they've premiered another track from the EP titled "fallingforyou" via Interview. Yup, they've got this whole cool aesthetic going and ain't nobody gonna tell them otherwise! Check it out below.

Equally as ambient, it wouldn't look out of place in the Drive soundtrack it's so damn cool. Check it out below and look out for the EP release on May 20th. To pre-order simply head over here.

[Watch] Biffy Clyro - "Opposite" (Official Video)

We can't give Biffy Clyro enough praise this year following the release of their fantastic double LP, Opposites. They've gone from strength to strength since the release, headlining their largest tour to date, supporting Muse and playing a string of US dates including Coachella. Today they offer up the official video clip for the track "Opposite" which sees a rather warped look at the world. It also sees the Simon, James and Ben being involved in a huge car crash and the horror that follows is pretty gripping. It's also a nice road safety ad. Always wear a seatbelt! Check it out above.

Opposites is out now

[Watch] Queens of the Stone Age - "My God Is The Sun" x "I Sat By The Ocean" Live on Jools Holland

Queens of the Stone Age just yesterday offered up the haunting video clip for their track "Kalopsia" after already previewing "If I Had a Tail" and "I Appear Missing". Keeping the good times going Josh Homme and Co were the guest of choice on BBC's show, Later... with Jools Holland. They opened and closed the show with performances of "My God Is The Sun" and "I Sat By The Ocean". It's so nice to see these guys performing live again and not just that, but on UK soil! Let's hope for some live date announcements soon. They absolutely killed it.

...Like Clockwork is due out on the the 4th of June via Matador Records and features a host of guest spots from the likes of Alex Turner, Trent Reznor, Sir Elton John, Joey Castillo, Nick Oliveri, Mark Lanegan, Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears, and James Lavelle of UNKLE. [Listen] Ryan Hemsworth - "Perfectly"

It took me a while to get into Ryan Hemsworth, but once I did I was loving the production style of the Halifax native (his recent remix of the Backstreet Boys' "Show Me The Meaning Of Love" was superb). Leading up to the release of his new EP Still Awake, due out next week, the rising beatmaker has dropped a new track titled "Perfectly."

The song sees Hemsworth taking things in a glitchy, upbeat direction, using bright synthesizers and a child-like xylophone to evoke the serenity of summertime. It's oddly dream-like and calming. Stream it below.
