[Listen] Stream Triple J's Rare Interview with Daft Punk
Australian radio station Triple J recently aired an interview with Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, a rare opportunity. During the five-minute interview, the duo talked their new single "Get Lucky," the recording of the song and what it means to them and (they hope) their fans. They also spoke of their decision to unveil the album at a global premiere in Wee Waa, Australia: "It feels like [Australia] understands our music. It could be anywhere, that’s what the record is made for, anywhere and everywhere."
Stream the full interview below. Random Access Memories, Daft Punk's first album since 2005's Human After All, is out on May 21st.

[Listen] The Dillinger Escape Plan - "Nothing's Funny"
After already previewing "Prancer" and "When I Lost My Bet" from their new album, One Of Us Is The Killer, The Dillinger Escape Plan have premiered another cut from the energetic sounding LP. A little more down tempo and melodic than the previous few previews, "Nothing's Funny" is every bit of Dillinger filled as you'd expect. Crazy riffs, punishing drums, bass to shake the contents of your apartment loose and wide ranging vocals from Greg. It's damn good.
One Of Us The Killer is set for release in 14th of May via the band's own Party Smasher Inc., in partnership with Sumerian Records.
[Watch] Goldroom feat. Mereki - "Only You Can Show Me" (Video)
L.A.'s Goldroom, the moniker of Josh Legg, gives his shimmering summer single "Only You Can Show Me" the visual treatment, and it's just as fun as the song. The camera focuses on a number of pastel-clad individuals (as well as guest vocalist Mereki) dancing their hearts out to the song. It's retro, it's fun. Makes you want to dance, doesn't it? Check it out below.
[Watch] Smith Westerns' Video for "Varsity"
Smith Westerns have always had a carefree attitude about them. Their music gives you the feeling that life is fleeting, so enjoy it while you can. [Watch] The National - "Sea of Love" (Official Video)
The National will later this month release their new album Trouble Will Find Me, the follow up to their highly acclaimed High Violet. Now in preparation for that and to get us all a little excited for the release, they've released the video for "Sea of Love". It see them performing in a tiny room with the help of a little dude on air guitar. It's fun to watch and pays homage "to one of our favorite punk rock videos" as they call it; Zvuki Mu and their track "Grubiy Zakat". You can watch their version below. It's pretty much a spot on replica from The National.
Trouble Will Find Me is due out on the 21st of May via 4AD and you can pre-order a copy now.
[Listen] Queens of the Stone Age - "I Sat By the Ocean" x "If I Had a Tail"
We've already heard "My God Is The Sun" and "I Appear Missing" from Queens of the Stone Age's highly anticipated follow up to Era Vulgaris, ...Like Clockwork. The band also yesterday took part in a little in-studio session for a Belgian Radio station performing two previously unheard cuts from the record. Below you can listen to the radio rips of "I Sat By the Ocean" and "If I Had a Tail", both of which are getting me so excited that I need to take a break and go for a wander in the fresh air. Both feature trademark Homme guitar tones and time signature changes from the band. Both are incredibly moreish too so hit repeat as much as you can. This album is already shaping up to be a highlight of the year.
...Like Clockwork is out on 4th of June via Matador Records. You can pre-order a copy over here.
