[Listen] Danny Brown - "Grown Up" (ATG Remix)

Danny Brown's "Grown Up" is up there as one of the best hip-hop tracks of the year, with a smooth delivery from Brown and a simplistic, throwback production style courtesy of Party Supplies. ATG changes things up quite a bit in his remix of the song, axing the old school production for an echoey sound and more complex instrumentation. In the end, the producer's changes actually work surprisingly well. Stream it below.

[Listen] Mayer Hawthorne - "No Strings" (RAC Remix)

Whenever RAC puts his efforts into a remix, the result is almost always fantastic. What is even more impressive, though, is his ability to create something fun and danceable no matter the source material. Tackling Mayer Hawthorne's "No Strings", RAC puts an incredibly funky spin on the soulful stylings of Hawthorne, a welcome fit that is the perfect way to start off the week. [News] Dave Sitek Forms New Label, Releases Trent Reznor Remix

TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek has seen a great deal of success within the band, but outside of it as well. His Maximum Ballon side project was one of the most refreshing albums of 2010, and now the producer is venturing into the label side of things. Sitek has announced the formation of his new label, Federal Prism, and the inaugural release is a big one. Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and fellow Nine Inch Nails bandmate Allesandro Cortini have come together to remix Telepathe's "Destroyer", which will be released as a 12" vinyl. [Watch & Download] Citizens! - "True Romance" (Official Video) x Gildas Kitsuné Club Night Remix

Dear friends, if you have been running out of ideas of crazy places where you and your lover can make out, Citizens! have compiled quite a few of them in their video for their latest single, "True Romance", which is off of their recent album Here We Are. I don't know why, but about halfway into the video all I could think of was describing the scenes in Dr. Seuss-esque speak: "You can make out on a car You can make out in a bar. You can make out in a store. You can make out on the floor. You can make out all intense. You can make out through a fence." But seriously though, the imagery of people being passionate in chaotic places is incredbly sweet. It's not surprising that the inpiration came from the couple kissing during the Vancouver riots.

[News] Chapel Club Launch Unique Remix Project

Last year we saw Chino Moreno's project Crosses urge fans to remix their music. This year we have something in a similar vein yet also a little different at the same time. Chapel Club are launching a remix project in which they're asking fans to remix a new track titled "Good Together". All pretty normal so far. The added bonus though is that whoever creates a remix can sell it on an online outlet of their choice and keep the proceeds. Pretty cool huh?

[Listen] The xx - "Angels" (Four Tet Remix)

Four Tet made sure to bombard his Twitter account a few days with reminders that his remix of The xx's "Angels" would be debuting on Huw Stephens' BBC Radio 1 show, and now you can hear what the UK producer was so excited about. Four Tet turns what is originally an atmospheric, vacant song into an elaborate, synth-infused piece. Stream it below.

Jamie xx confirmed that the remix would be included on an upcoming 12", which will include his own remix of a Four Tet song.

[Listen] Flying Lotus Remixes Frank Ocean's "Thinkin Bout You"

We know by this point that Flying Lotus is one artist that likes to have a constant wave of remixes and new material hitting the net. He often takes to his Soundcloud acount to upload new and old tracks alike and this weekend was no different. He's reworked Frank Ocean's track, "Thinkin Bout You" and dubbed it "Binge Eating Without You". Stating in the Facebook post with the track, FlyLo says he's unlikely to finish this so enjoy it in its "ruff" version below.

Alt-J are going from strength to strength, just this week they've been tipped by bookies as favourite to take the Mercury Music prize. Their album An Awesome Wave is a ridiculously well put together piece of music that is very much worth a listen. Today, we get to listen to a remix from My Morning Jacket's Jim James of Alt-J's single, "Fitzpleasure".

An Awesome Wave is out now in the UK and set for release stateside on the 18th of September. ∆
