[News] Bloc Party Announces More Tour Dates
Following a brief string of dates in the U.S. in August, Bloc Party will further support their upcoming fourth studio album Four in September when they return Stateside. The tour will include the aid of Ceremony, kicking off in Boston on September 14th. Check out the full tour schedule after the jump.
Four is set for release on August 21st via Frenchkiss Records, and if you head here you can watch fan footage of seven of the album's twelve tracks.
[News] The Presets Announce New Album: 'Pacifica'
Australian electro duo The Presets have announced that they will release their third studio album Pacifica, the follow-up to 2008's Apocalypso, this September through Casablanca Records. The album was recorded and produced by the band in Los Angeles, and will see the duo "boldly venture into new, uncharted musical territories." They have also created a teaser clip featuring a snippet of the song "Youth in Trouble," which will be included on the forthcoming LP, that you can watch at the band's website.
The Presets will be going on tour in support of the forthcoming release, which will kick off in Vancouver on October 15th following the duo's appearance at San Francisco's Treasure Island Music Festival. Peep the tour dates after the jump.
[News] Metric and Stars Map Out Tour Together
Later this fall, Canadian indie contemporaries Metric and Stars will team up for a co-headlining tour across Canada. In support of Metric's recently released album Synthetica and Stars' forthcoming sixth LP The North, which is out on September 4th, the two bands will kick off their tour in Victoria, BC on November 9th.
