[News] Grimes Announces Mythical Gymnastics Tour
Claire Boucher, better known by her moniker Grimes, has had an incredibly quick rise to fame over the past year, and her busy schedule has just gotten busier. Following appearances at several summer festivals, an opening performance for The Flaming Lips, as well as touring alongside Skirllex and Diplo on an across-Canada-by-train journey, Grimes will go on a massive headlining tour. Starting on September 25th, the aptly titled Mythical Gymnastics tour will see Grimes accompanied by Elite Gymnastics and Myths for a full month of performances all across North America. [News] The Flaming Lips Unveil Details for Record-Breaking 24-Hour Tour
The Flaming Lips are no strangers at performing outlandish stunts and being all around ridiculous guys, but this time around they're going for a record breaking attempt. The band are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for Most Concerts in One Day later this month where they will play eight consecutive shows in three different states over the course of twenty-four hours. Last night, they revealed the details regarding the tour, including their specific route and who will be opening for them.
Kicking things off in Memphis, TN on June 27th at 7:30pm EST, The Flaming Lips will then carry on to perform in Clarksdale, MS, Oxford, MS, Jackson, MS, Hattiesburg, MS, Biloxi, MS, Baton Rouge, LA and finally New Orleans. The band will also be backed up by the likes of Neon Indian, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Grimes, and several others over the course of their record-breaking tour. [News] Onra Announces Summer Tour
Parisian beatmaker and producer Onra has announced a summer tour in support of his upcoming EP Deep In The Night, which includes the awesome, funky track "L.O.V.E." The tour will take the artist across North America over the course of the entire summer, with the current leg of his tour wrapping up in Toronto and Montreal tonight and tomorrow. [News] Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Announces North American Tour
In support of his debut LP Trouble, which officially hits stores on June 12th, Oxford producer Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs has announced a North American tour.
