[News] Neil Young and Crazy Horse Announce Fall Tour
In support of their brand new album American, which was released today, Neil Young and Crazy Horse will be hitting the road in October for a North American tour. Starting on October 3rd in Windsor, ON, the tour will take Neil Young and Crazy Horse all across North America, with the tour wrapping up on Bridgeport, CT on December 4th. Supporting the band on tour will be Patti Smith, whose newest LP Banga was also released today.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on June 8th, with $1.00 from every sale going towards Neil Young's Bridge School. Check out the full tour itinerary after the jump.
[News] Grizzly Bear Announce New Album and Fall Tour Dates, Stream "Sleeping Ute"
Grizzly Bear are back with the follow-up to 2009's Veckatimest, an as-of-yet-untitled ten-track effort that will be released on September 18th. The album was recorded over the better part of a year, and today you can stream the album opener, "Sleeping Ute," in full in the player above. More details regarding the album, including the title, will be announced soon.
Along with announcement of a new album, Grizzly Bear have mapped out a fall tour in support of the release, with the tour spanning multiple continents from September 16th to November 21st. Check out their full tour schedule, as well as the tracklisting for their new album, after the jump.
[News] Jack White Adds More Summer Tour Dates
Immediately following his appearance at Lollapalooza in the beginning of August, Jack White will visit Omaha, Los Angeles, Seattle and Portland for a set of newly announced tour dates. [News] Vampire Weekend Announce First Shows in 21 Months
It's been almost 21 months since Vampire Weekend has performed live on North American soil, and yesterday the band announced a pair of intimate shows set to break that absence. Prior to their performance at Pitchfork Music Festival, the band will be performing in both Cleveland and Indianapolis on July 12th and 13th, respectively. A press release states that the band is currently writing songs for their third LP, so the live performances will likely see them perform new tracks. Check out their tour schedule after the jump.
[News] The Walkmen Announce Fall Tour
In support of their recently released LP Heaven, The Walkmen have announced a headlining tour scheduled for this fall. Following a festival circuit and tour dates alongside Florence & The Machine this summer, the band will hit the road in mid-September. Going until October 19th, the U.S. tour will also see the band performing alongside The War On Dugs in both Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. Take a look a their full tour schedule after the jump.
Before any of this, though, the band will be performing at New York's Bowery Ballroom this Wednesday, June 6th, at 9pm EST. The entire concert will see a worldwide live stream courtesy of Spotify, which will be filmed by La Blogotheque. Stay tuned this Wednesday for more information.
[News] Fitz and The Tantrums Announce New Album, Summer Tour Dates
Following up their 2010 debut Pickin' Up The Pieces, soul outfit Fitz and The Tantrums have announced that their sophomore LP will be released on October 9th via Dangerbird Records. Produced by Tony Hoffer, who has previously worked with bands such as Phoenix and Depeche Mode, the progress of the studio effort will be updated on the band's official website.
Leading up to the release of the as-of-yet-untitled album, the Los Angeles outfit will be going on tour throughout the summer and into September, touring alongside Ben Harper, Dave Matthews and Blues Traveler. [News] The Antlers Announce New EP: 'Undersea'
Less than a year and a half after the release of their fantastic fourth LP Burst Apart, The Antlers have announced that they a following it up with an EP titled Undersea. The EP is set for release on July 24th, and is being released through the band's new label ANTI- Records.
