[Watch] Bob Dylan - "Duquesne Whistle" (Official Video)
It's fair to say that although Bob Dylan is not what he used to be in a live setting (sometimes) he has still most definitely got it when he's in the studio. Tempest, his 35th album, count 'em. Thirty. Five. is set to be released on September 11th and earlier in the week the good folks over at Rolling Stone posted a video for "Duquesne Whistle" which tells the tale of a man stalking a woman daily, it doesn't end too well for him. We also see the crew that Bobby D struts around with. It's a mixed bag of people but damn, you wouldn't want to mess with 'em on a dark night such as this. Check it out at the top.
[Watch] The Avett Brothers - "One Too Many Mornings" (Bob Dylan Cover) Live on Fallon
Last night The Avett Brothers were the musical guest of choice for Jimmy Fallon and they brought along an excellent sounding cover of Bob Dylan's "One Too Many Things". The cover appeared on the Amnesty International compilation that features tonnes of talent playing Dylan covers including QOTSA, Cage The Elephant and Silversun Pickups. More information on that release can be found over here but right now you can check out the Avett Brothers performance at the top via The Audio Perv.

[News] Bob Dylan Tribute Album: 'Chimes of Freedom' Tracklist Feat. QOTSA, My Morning Jacket, Pete Townshend & More
In celebration of Amnesty International's 50th Anniversary, a collection of Bob Dylan covers has been put together and is set for release in January on the 24th to be precise. The full tracklist has appeared and it's frikkin' crazy! Like good crazy and absurd crazy, you know?! It'll be a 72 track monster compiling 4 discs and a host of talent from the world of music. It also throws a few weird number sin but hey, you gotta take the good with the bad.
Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International will include covers from the likes of Queens of the Stone Age who take on "Outlaw Blues" from 1965's Bringing It All Back Home. My Morning Jacket tackle "You’re A Big Girl Now", Mariachi El Bronx add their fine acoustic goodness to "Love Sick". The Who’s Pete Townshend tackles the crooner number "Corrina, Corrina" and Cage the Elephant do "The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll". Now, thrown into the mix we have Miley Cyrus covering Blood on the Tracks' "You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go". The one I really don't want to see covered in glitter and crap is "Don't Think Twice it's Alright" but that's been taken up by none other than Ke$ha. KE$SHA!? But still, this compilation will definitely be worth a listen. The full track listing of pure awesome can be found after the jump via CoS.

[Listen] Bon Iver - "With God On Our Side" (Bob Dylan Cover)
Justin Vernon cannot lose this year, no matter what he does. At a recent Bon Iver show in Portland, Oregon, the group performed yet another beautiful cover, this time an awesome rendition of Bob Dylan's classic "With God on Our Side." Take a listen to the live recording yourself, courtesy of TwentyFourBit, and let us know what you think.
[Listen] The Walkmen Cover Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash
I'll let you into a secret. I say secret if you know me personally it isn't that much of a secret, but I'm a big Bob Dylan fan. This may only be lightly linked to Bobby D but I'm not complaining. The Walkmen recently visited KEXP and laid down some raspy covers of Johnny Cash however one of the tracks was actually a cover that Johnny had done of Bob, so you see the loose link to Mr Zimmerman.
The tracks they performed were "Wanted Man" which was originally Dylan's along with "Mr. Lonesome" and "Darlin’ Companion". Interestingly "Darlin’ Companion" was originally recorded by the Lovin’ Spoonful. So the Johnny Cash covers session featured just two original Cash scores. Along with the aforementioned tracks The Walkmen also laid down a cover of Dominic Behan’s "The Auld Triangle". Check out all the tracks below via our good friends over at One Thirty BPM.
