Mikill Pane had one hell of a 2011 and looks set to continue his good fortune in 2012 with the release of this great sounding EP, You Guest It. We've already had one release from him this year in the shape of the Morris Dancer EP but for this next release he has some very special guests. The UK songstress Yasmin has let loose a brand new track that was produced by the big man himself, Diplo. Even though she says the track is an uncompleted demo it sure sounds pretty damn fine. Yasmin's voice has been one to grab my attention for quite some time and this track goes to show you all a little bit why. Check out two UK artists coming together and making a fresh sounding track. I don't know if it's just the touch of Wretch 32 but I've liked the majority of his work. Not forgetting his input on "Unorthodox" with the SKoA favourite Example. Check out the track here in which the interwoven verses and chorus alter from Wretch to Yasmin backed by a strong drum beat. Yasmin's voice soars making for a nice sounding track and cacthy mix. Enjoy.

One third of the indie band The XX and 2011's currently most in-demand remixer Jamie xx takes over this week's 6 Mix on BBC 6 Music. After dropping amazing remixes like Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" and his recent collaboration album with spoken word legend Gil Scott-Heron on We're New Here, Jamie takes over the 6 Mix to play a selection of the music which inspired his productions alongside some of his current favourites and also tells the story of how he came to remix the whole Gil Scott Heron album. Check out the mix below which also features a new tune from Jamie and recent Devlin collaborator Yasmin titled "Touch Me". Peep the track listing after the jump.
