[Album Stream] Listen to JJ Doom's 'Butter Edition' of 'Keys to the Kuffs', Including Remixes from Clams Casino, Thom Yorke and Beck

Refresher: JJ Doom = MF Doom and Jneiro Jarel. Last year, they released the fantastic Keys to the Kuffs, a collaboration that paired Doom's bizarre lyricism and Jarel's dark, outlandish production. Exactly one year later, on August 20th, Lex Records will be releasing the "Butter Edition" of the album, featuring reworked versions of tracks, new guest verses (including Del the Funky Homosapien) as well as remixes from the likes of Thom Yorke, Clams Casino, Beck and Dave Sitek. Stream the whole album below and pre-order it here.

[News] Flying Lotus Details 'Until The Quiet Comes'

Flying Lotus' 2010 LP Cosmogramma marked a moment in the artist's career where he transcended his conventional peers and the established genres, hitting a whole new level of experimentation and creativity. His fourth LP, Until The Quiet Comes, could take that even further. Set for release on October 2nd via Warp, FlyLo's newest effort boasts some impressive talent, including guest appearances from Erykah Badu, Thundercat, Laura Darlington, Niki Randa, and the previously reported Thom Yorke. The 18-track effort should be nothing less than impressive. Check out the full tracklist as well as Flying Lotus' fall tour dates after the jump, and peep the official album art above.

[News] Flying Lotus Collaborating with Thom Yorke on New LP

Flying Lotus and Radiohead's Thom Yorke have collaborated before, with the latter providing vocals for Lotus' track "…And The World Laughs With You" off of his 2010 LP Cosmogramma. The collaboration was a major highlight from that album, and that year, and now the two are once again teaming up. As reported by Rolling Stone, Yorke will feature on Flying Lotus' forthcoming album Until the Quiet Comes, which is set for release on this fall. When speaking with Rolling Stone, Lotus described his approach with this new album as more "grown-up", going further to say, "I feel like I had this maximalist mentality going into the last one, but with this one now I feel like I don't have a problem holding back on some moments so bigger moments can shine through."

Until the Quiet Comes is out on October 2nd via Warp, and above you can watch an interview Yorke did with Flying Lotus at Worldwide Awards last year.

[Listen] Modeselektor - "All Buttons In" Feat. Thom Yorke

We've had a few songs from the German duo Modeselektor that involved the extremely talented Mr. Thom Yorke. Their latest offering, "This", which we saw the video for not too long ago is now out as a 7" single and comes packaged with a B-Side called "All Buttons In" which also features Yorke. Although it's not directly, they've reworked Thom's vocals for the track. It makes for an interesting listen, not that we expected anything less! Peep it below via the good folk at Listen Before You Buy.

[Watch] Modeselektor - "This" Feat. Thom Yorke (Official Video)

A new video for (one of) Modeselektor's Thom Yorke featuring tracks, "This", has appeared online and features the story of a young female puppeteer and her faithful puppets. All seems well before she throws the puppet across the room as her mood seems to escalate into a glitchy spin before it all gets a little weird and she's floating. Kind of reminds me of those old Windows screensavers... Just me? You'll have to watch it for yourselves up at the top to cast you opinion on the matter.

[Listen] SBTRKT - "Hold On" (Sisi BakBak Remix)

SBTRKT has one hell of a busy 2012 scheduled and now some new sounds from his camp (kind of) this way come. A remix of his "Hold On" track has hit the net courtesy of a few sources. Now, the remix itself comes from Sisi BakBak. Anyone? No, well that's not surprising but word on the grapevine is that the remix comes from none other than Radiohead's Thom Yorke. KEXP’s Cheryl Waters, who premiered the track, said that the person the remix came from is set to play Seattle’s Key Arena. Radiohead play that very arena in April. Bestival organiser and all round top guy, Rob Da Bank, also tweeted (via P4k) saying he was enjoying the Yorke remix "for the 18th time…unbeatable!".

The remix is set to feature on the release of the single "Hold On" which drops digitally on February 21st, and as a limited edition 12” in a deluxe lenticular sleeve on May 8th. See if you agree with Rob below and let us know if you beat his 18 times in a row below courtesy of Young Turks.

[Listen] Thom Yorke - "Stuck Together" x "Twist"

In the last quarter of last year Thom Yorke put some music forward that was used by the clothing line Rag & Bone. Pretty cool. Even cooler is the fact that the tracks played during the show have appeared online. Disco Naïveté, always one to have their finger on the pulse, has pointed us towards two tracks that have surfaced on Youtube. The tracks are titled "Twist" and "Stuck Together" and have been confirmed to be legit. As an added bonus it would appear there are more tracks that are yet to surface. Watch this space...

[Listen] Thom Yorke & Jonny Greenwood x DOOM - "Retarded Fren"

Earlier in the year it was rumored that masked emcee DOOM (Formerly MF DOOM) was working with Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke on a collabortive album. It looks like that rumor may become true as we get our first taste (aside from Thom Yorke's remix of DOOM's Gazzillion Ear) of the latest collaboration from Radiohead's Thom Yorke & Jonny Greenwood and the man himself (no imposter) DOOM. Check out the track "Retarded Fren" from the upcoming compilation celebrating the tenth anniversary of Lex Records. Now can we get a new Madvillain record? Is that too much to ask?
