[Watch] The Death Set - "They Come To Get Us" (Official Video)

I hope the way The Death Set depicts New York City in their new video for "They Come To Get Us" never ever becomes reality. The video paints a chaotic picture complete with explosions, Godzilla, robots, spaceships, and every sort of other character you could imagine roaming about the city streets causing a ruckus.

"They Come To Get Us" is off last years release Michel Poiccard, which you can grab over at InSound if you haven't already.

[Watch] The Death Set - "It's Another Day" (Video)

Check out the latest video from electro/punk rockers The Death Set for their song "It's Another Day" from their latest LP Michel Poiccard. Their latest visual is collaboration with Scion AV in which the band explains, "No drugs, guns, curse words or sex allowed."

Although, we aren't getting our typical Death Set mayhem video, we are getting something truly out there with this love story. The plot is basically, boy eats so much junk food that he becomes pregnant, then boy gives birth to his dream girl on the road and they make out happily ever after? WTF? Check out the strange video in the player above. I'm hungry now...

Michel Poiccard is now available for purchase via Ninja Tune/Counter Records. Pick it up.

[Watch] The Death Set - "Can You Seen Straight" (Video)

Check out The Death Set ripping up Paris and Brooklyn on a recent tour and gracing us with the footage and packaging it up neatly alongside their track "Can You Seen Straight". Blood, a ton of sweat and animal masks all feature in the video, not to mention more than a pinch of chaos. It's to be expected with these boys though really if you've ever seen footage of their shows prior to this video.

Check out life on the road for a band on top of their game at the moment, or at least at their most inebriated on tour.

[Watch] The Death Set - "We Are Going Anywhere Man"

Check out some new visuals from those ear drum ranglers The Death Set who I am still pretty bummed about as me and Rocko didn't manage to catch them at SXSW. The queue was insane no matter what angle you looked at it, but when you see what kind of show these guys put on you can understand why there's so much anticipation on getting into one of their live shows.

A few weeks ago the guys put up a message on their Facebook page that they wanted to throw a big ass party on a roof somewhere and wanted fans to come help out and party on a roof somewhere! They show up party hard and some guy below complains when the band causes his "art" to fall off the wall. By art he eant Transformers poster apparently. Long story short they took the party to a small ass apartment and you can watch the results at the top which is the bands new video for the track, "We Are Going Anywhere Man".

[SKOA Presents] SXSW 2011 Or Bust!

We are counting down the hours until Shey, Rocko and I hop on our respective planes from our humble homes and hit the hip streets of Austin, TX for SXSW. While we are all n00bz to the pure mayhem and insanity that is SXSW, we think/hope we have appropriately prepped our livers, iCals, eardrums, etc. for the days ahead of us. Although it is hard to tell how our days in Austin will actually pan out, we have carefully combed through every party, panel and showcase and prepared the following agenda in case you care to follow along or even follow us around. Mind you, we all have a few bands here and there that aren't playing a specific party that we'll be checking out as well, but this is a pretty good idea of where to find us.

If you don't see something on our list that you think we should check out, please drop us a comment!

Here we go!
