[Watch] St. Vincent - "Digital Witness" (Official Video)

St. Vincent's new self-titled album is set for release on February 25th via Loma Vista. The second track, the brass filled choppy number, "Digital Witness" has been given the official video treatment now and sees it matching up to the edgy and punchy dynamic of the song. Bold colours of green and yellow are strewn throughout by director Chino Moya and the sharp cuts and movements of the dancers/extras fit the audio well. Can we just have the album already?! I'm getting impatient.

Bonus video: Did you know Annie Clark is rather good at football? The European kind, Soccer to you people in the US. After quitting at 12, which was actually when she got her first guitar, her energy was solely then focussed on music. Good thing for us, huh?

[Listen] St. Vincent - "Digital Witness"

What are you guys excited for in 2014? I'm excited for the return of Annie Clark and St. Vincent. Our first preview of her new self-titled album came as an early Christmas present in December and you can check it out here. This week she's offered up a funky, horn happy second track called "Digital Witness" which comes with some added little twangy guitar parts and building bass line too. The chorus then turns into a slow pulsating dance number that'll have you chicken necking 'til dawn. All in all it's got me pretty happy about what the new album will bring. See for yourselves below.

St. Vincent is out February 25th via Loma Vista.

[Listen] St. Vincent - "Birth In Reverse"

Praise the Lord. Count your lucky stars. Thank your next door neighbour. Do whatever you god damned like to show your appreciation for Annie Clark AKA St. Vincent who is back and has just announced a brand new album set for release in a matter of month on February 25th via Loma Vista after her previous releases have came out on the wonderful 4AD. Taking a route that seems ever more popular in recent times, the album is simply called, St. Vincent, and below you can stream the lead single, "Birth In Reverse" which to me sounds like the worst thing imaginable. Just, no. But the track is delectable and as sexy as ever. Funky guitar lines pair up with Annie's unique vocals to deliver a track that opens up with the lines: "Oh what an ordinary day, Take out the garbage, masturbate." I mean what more could you ask for in a new track? Check it out below and mark your calendars for what sounds like it could be a great album so early on in the year.

[News] Final headliners for End of the Road Festival announced

Well isn't this a delightful turn up for the books. End of the Road Festival have just announced their final headliners and it's a bit of a good'un. Gracing the stage with the likes of the already announced Sigur Ros and Belle and Sebastian at the Dorset festival, which takes place from the 30th of August until the 1st of September, will be the spell-binding St. Vincent and David Byrne. Watch the video above for the announcement from organisers and for more info on who else will be playing the fest, head to the official website.

End of the Road won Best Small Festival at the 2011 UK Festival Awards, and rightly so, I've never heard a bad word spoken about it. So why not join in the fun and go see what all the fuss is about by jumping over here for some tickets which are available right now

[Watch] Andrew Bird and St. Vincent Perform "Lusitania" in a Bedroom

Andrew Bird and St. Vincent in a bedroom. The result? A damn good acoustic joint rendition of Bird's "Lusitania", which found itself on his fantastic early 2012 release Break it Yourself. What else did you expect from the two filming themselves in a bedroom? Watch it above.

The clip is a small part of the feature length concert documentary Andrew Bird: Fever Year, which was directed by Xan Arranda and will continue to be screened at film festivals around the world throughout the early part of 2013.

[Watch] David Byrne & St. Vincent on The Colbert Report

Last night the wonderful David Byrne and St. Vincent were guests on The Colbert Report and not only perform a track but sit down and have a chat with Stephen. The duo performed a lively rendition of "Who" and sat down to have a typically jovial conversation about a number of topics including the recent events and Sandy. There's also talk of a three way shower session and a webcam being involved? I'm pretty sure boys around the world would rejoice at Annie in th.... enough of that. It's a Friday, let's celebrate, catch the interview at the top and the performance below courtesy of The Audio Perv.

[Watch] David Byrne & St. Vincent Visit Jimmy Fallon

The collaborative effort between David Byrne and St. Vincent was released this week and to support the album the pair visited Jimmy Fallon to put in a few performances from the record. First up at the top you can enjoy them going through a great rendition of the single "Who" that we saw the video to not that long ago. After the jump we have the pleasure of enjoying "The Forest Awakes". I could watch these two perform all day I think.

Love This Giant is out this week via 4AD/Todo Mundo.
