[Watch] LCD Soundsystem's Final Show at MSG Featuring Arcade Fire, Reggie Watts & Shit Robot
For those that don't know, last night was the bittersweet end of one of the best indie dance bands of our decade. For the last week, James Murphy's LCD Soundsystem have been performing their final show throughout NY before hanging up the towel. The band announced back in February that their final show would take place at the Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 2nd. However, due to ticket scaplers the band announced 5 additional shows at Terminal 5 for the last week of March leading up to the band's grand finale.
Thanks to Pitchfork, LCD's final show was live streamed for all to view that could not attend the event and you can now check out the replay of last night's broadcast above in case you missed out or just want to view it again (shouts to the Rock It Out! Blog for the heads up.) The 3 and half hour show was composed of five sets featuring the best of the band's catalog and featured special guests including comedian Reggie Watts joining in on “45:33 part two” and Arcade Fire singing along on “North American Scum.” Enough reading, check out the full show above and then peep out the full setlist after the jump. See ya LCD Soundsystem its been fun while you were around. Thanks for the all the great records and we'll see you reunited at Coachella around 2014-2015. Right?

[Listen] Shit Robot - "Losing My Patience" (Hot Chip Remix)
The Hot Chip boys have put their own spin on Shit Robot's track "Losing My Patience" and below you can check it out in all its glory. The album version does indeed feature Alexis Taylor so it was no huge surprise that they decided to add their own, even more personal touch onto the song. Flourishes of Hot Chip-esque beats can be heard throughout and the 7 minute version of the track. The result feels a little more fuller and it may get a few more people dancing, but that's just me. Check it out for yoruself and let us know what you think. "Losing My Patience" is out now on DFA along with the album From The Cradle To The Rave.
