The Dead Weather Announce Summer Tour
The rock gods have heard our prayers, which means The Dead Weather is going back out on tour this summer to support Sea Of Cowards (which btw comes out next Tuesday 5/11). The new dates kick off the second week of July and will finish with a performance at Brooklyn's Prospect Park in August.

Are you insanely anxious to hear Sea of Cowards like we are!?!?! Well your wait is over!
Starting at 1pm EST/10am PST, you can Screaming Vinyl Live - the official 24-hour listening party for Sea of Cowards. Embeddable UStream players located on both Third Man Records and The Dead Weather websites will be playing the new album on vinyl via a live camera and audio stream. The listening party will be streaming live from Nashville and Los Angeles and will feature surprise guest DJs.
Monday May 3rd the band will premiere the album in front of a live audience at the Third Man Records building in downtown Nashville. The performance will stream on May 3rd at 3pm PST/6pm EST on MySpace Music and the band’s Myspace page.
I'm sure Rocko, Tek and I will all be taking turns on the SKoA twitter to share our excitement. We'd love to hear your thoughts on the album as well during the listening party.

[Stream] The Dead Weather "Die By The Drop"
Many of you know the story about what happened to the original post, regarding us posting The Dead Weather's latest single Die By The Drop along with the B-Side Old Mary. However, the song has been officially released for public consumption for fans to get a first listen before the single is released on Tuesday March 30th. So enjoy the track once again and be sure to catch the premiere of the music video on iTunes, April 6th, 2010.

That sure didn't take too long. Not too long ago The Dead Weather announced their upcoming sophomore album Sea Of Cowards, slated to be released May 7th.
The lead single, "Die By The Drop", is supposed to hit the airwaves next week, but apparently has already hit the internetz along with it's accompanying b-side "Old Mary".
I am drooling over these two songs. I absolutely cannot WAIT for these to be pressed onto something colored and limited edition.
