[Download] Reptar - "Age of Consent" (New Order Cover)

New kids on the block Reptar have not long ago released their full-length debut, Body Faucet via Vagrant Records. Today though we get a different cut from the band as they offer up an impressive sounding cover of New Order's "Age of Consent" which featured on their 1983 album Power, Corruption & Lies.

With just one week prior to its release, we have for your listening pleasure Body Faucet - the debut full-length from Athens, GA band Reptar. The album was produced by Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Gnarls Barkley, Washed Out) and follows up the band's EP Oblangle Fizz Y'all which saw much love from fans and critics alike.

The band is also prepping to hit the road with Grouplove in support of Body Faucet the day after its release (which is May 1st btw). You have have a listen to the album in full and have check out when they're coming to a city near you below.

[Listen] Reptar - "Orifice Origami"

A new track from Reptar has hit the net today and it's a goodie. I've been keeping  a close eye on these guys for a while and their debut, Body Faucet, is definitely an album I'm eager to wrap my ears around in 2012. Luckily there's not too long to wait as it's out in a few months on the 1st of May. However, for you eager beavers, me included,  today we can listen to a track titled "Orifice Origami". The mental image of what that title could mean is quite disturbing so just hit play and get excited via their Soundcloud stream below.

Reptar have just uploaded their official video for the track "Context Clues" which appeared on their EP Oblangle Fizz Y'all. The video uses a combination of Stop motion and still images to create an interesting visual treat for your Friday afternoon.
