#skoaradio 11/07/2015 liner notes
Really feeling this week's mixtape you guys.
Can't stop. Won't stop. Can't stop working. But it's chill though, the atmosphere I've been launched into has me surrounded by people who are music junkies just like me! In fact, I found Michl courtesy of one of my dope new friends at the office I'm in right now. (Thanks dude!) Sprout and I also hit up Honne on Tuesday this week where we hung out in the dungeon of a basement at Mercury Lounge and chatted with with James and Andy before they got the entire place pregnant. It's good to be busy. Then we had Flagship at Rough Trade on Friday night. Those guys were super great too. Can't wait to interview them and officially usher them into the skoa fam. But yeah, there's a lot going on but the majority of it is awesome. I guess you could say I'm #stressedbutalsoblessed. I hope you enjoyed this week's show. I'd love to hear from you if I just introduced you to your new favorite song (I know I'm kind of obsessing over SOULS right now).
Until next week!

[Watch] Smiler - "Top Of The World (feat. Professor Green & Tawiah)" (Official Video)
Following up his highly praised All I Know mixtape, south London rapper Smiler released his single, "Top Of The World", which you can check out the video that dropped on Wednesday above. The single features rapper Professor Green and soul/R&B singer Tawiah and is slated for an August 20th courtesy of Warner Brothers Records. Admittedly, I don't know a lot of his material, but for this particular song I can't help but be impressed with his lyrical flow and how catchy the hook in the chorus is.
You can head over to his Facebook and in exchange for a like pick up his mixtape. There is also information about pre-ordering "Top Of The World" before it drops on August 20th.

[Watch] Professor Green - "Astronaut" (Live Session)
Professor Green has this week released his new album At Your Inconvenience much to many fans delight. With the album release comes the promo and up at the top you can peep Pro Green having a chat with The Guardian about his album track "Astronaut" along with a performance accompanied by a full band. It's pretty darn good. Liking Pro's new stuff quite a bit. It seems like a bit of a step up from the last album.
[Listen] Professor Green - "Nightmares" Feat. Kobe & Royce Da 5'9" (Prod By DJ Khalil)
Wow this is a surprise. One of SKoA's favorite UK emcees, Professor Green hooks up with one of the best currently doing in hip hop Royce Da 5'9" along with Kobe Honeycutt on the hook for the DJ Khalil produced cut "Nightmares" off Green's upcoming LP At Your Inconvenience. This track is one of the most standout tracks on Pro Green's album, not only for the features but also for being the only US hip hop influenced track on the album. The track almost has that Bad Meets Evil vibe with Pro Green playing the part of Eminem with his dark wordplay accompaning Khalil's evil beat. Check out the track below.
Green's At Your Inconvenience drops next week in the UK on Halloween (Oct. 31st). Bump this for all the little ghouls in your neighborhood.
[Watch] Professor Green - "Read All About It" Feat. Emeli Sandé Live on Jools Holland

Check out the performance from the pair at the top and look out for more later in the week when the full show is broadcast in the UK.
[Watch] Professor Green - "Read All About It" Feat. Emeli Sande

[Watch] Professor Green - "At Your Inconvenience" (Video)
Mid July gave us a new track from Professor Green which was titled "At Your Inconvenience" which was taken from his upcoming album of the same name. Today Pro Green offers up the eye candy for the track on his Youtube page. t shows a lighter side to him and also at one point he's in a tux, I didn't think I'd ever see Professor Green in one of those. Enjoy the visuals at the top and look out for his new album At Your Inconvenience which is set to drop in October.
