Hodgy Beats and Left Brain, together known as MellowHype, drop a new cut from their soon-to-be-released album Numbers. The unsettling beat of "Grill" is met with witty lyrcism from the two Odd Future members, especially a lengthy verse from Left Brain. Check it out below.

As we await the release of MellowHype's upcoming album, Numbers, Hodgy and Left Brain have taken to the intenet to fittingly dub this week 'Mellow Hype Week' and will be releasing new music in anticipation of the album release next month. Shortly after dubbing this week with an apt title, Hodgy took to Twitter again to drop "Decoy" which can be streamed below.

Numbers is scheduled to be released on the 9th of October.

Hodgy Beats and Left Brain's collaborative side project MellowHype has a new video for the single "La Bonita", visuals that Hodgy Beats insists "ain’t only for the Spanish girls". "La Bonita" is the lead single off of MellowHype's upcoming album Numberswhich is due out on October 9th via Odd Future Records. This feels like a nice step forward for MellowHype aka Left Brain and Hodgy Beats of Odd Future. Offering up a new track called "La Bonita" which is set to appear on their forthcoming project Numbers the duo seems ot have grown a little with their musical project. Hodgy pushes is vocal ability in this one and I really enjoyed it. See if you agree below.

[Listen] Mellowhype - "45"

Making sure they're not slipping out of our minds, Hodgy Beats and Left Brain aka Mellowhype have offered up a new track by the name of "45". Hodgy did his usual trick of appearing on Tumblr and letting the fans enjoy it in full. The laid back number sees some minimal beats and synth with Hodgy laying down a few bars on top. Not a bad morning listen if you're still a little fragile. They also say that the new Mellowhype project Numbers should be getting announced soon. More on that as and when we have it.

Today, Odd Future member Hodgy Beats released a brand new track on his Tumblr. The track, which sees Hodgy's MellowHype cohort Left Brain dropping a verse, is titled, well, "Crap," and will be featured on his upcoming mixtape ROCK/SLAB. You can check out the track for yourself in the player below, and, as of yet, there is still no word on when the mixtape will be released.

[Listen] MellowHype - "Gunz" x "Game" Feat. Tyler, The Creator

With the interest dying out like a match stick reaching the end of it's charred life, 2 parts of Odd Future, MellowHype, this week re-released their 2010 album BlackenedWhite. With a track not being featured due to permission issues regarding Earl Sweatshirt the obvious choice was to put on some bonus tracks for the ever hungry fans of MellowHype and anything OFWGKTA.

First up is a track titled "Gunz" which features on the iTunes purchase if you were wondering. The second is a track titled "Game" which features the infamous leader of all things OF related, Tyler, The Creator. [Watch] Mellowhype - "64" (Video)

I've been waiting to hear the studio version of Mellowhype's "64" since their live performance with Bass Drum of Death on Fuel TV's The Daily Habit back in April.

Now you can peep Hodgy and Left Brain's first music video ever of "64" which is featured on the re-issue of the group's sophomore album, BlackenedWhite. The video is pretty trippy, and takes place at Hodgy Beats’ funeral the transforms into everything you've seen in a suspense horror movie within the last 5 years (mainly The Ring).
