[Watch] Flying Lotus - "Never Catch Me (feat. Kendrick Lamar)" (Official Video)

Okay, can we talk about how Kendrick Lamar is like EVERYWHERE right now?! I feel like if I'm not careful that I'm going to go around a corner and he's going to be standing there ready to start rapping on command for me. I mean, I'm not complaining or anything, but it's been a little overwhelming, especially over the past week. At any rate, I'm glad that he's contributing to the goodness that is Flying Lotus' upcoming 5th album You're Dead! which drops next week (October 6th). The video (below) for "Never Catch Me" takes place during a funeral wherein the deceased love this song so much that they leap out of their caskets and start dancing.
Tomorrow (October 3rd) you'll be able to stream the entire album in full starting at 5pm EST/ 11pm EU / 2pm PST over on Flying Lotus' website, so set yourself a remind for that.

[Listen] Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica Feature on Vicious Unreleased Big Sean Track, "Control (HOF)"

Too bad Big Sean's new album Hall of Fame didn't feature this grimey, furious track, 'cause it's downright amazing. He had guests like Nas, Miguel, Pharrell Williams, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Nicky Minaj, Young Jeezy and more on the LP, but nothing compares to the verses delivered by Jay Electronica and Kendrick Lamar on "Control (HOF)."

Big Sean said on Twitter that "[t]his one that didn’t make the album cuz of the sample BUT IT IS NOT no radio shit.. Straight rap… I’m talking 7min shit… Grimey shit." Instead, he went ahead and leaked it on Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 radio show. Lucky us. If he hadn't done that we wouldn't have heard the lyrical barrage that is Lamar:

I heard barber shops debate the greats all the time // Who’s the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas // Eminem, Andre 3000, the rest of y’all // New niggas just new niggas, don’t get involved // And I ain’t rockin no more designer shit // White T’s and Nike Cortes, this is red Crvettes anonymous // I’m usually homeboys with the same niggas I’m rhymin with // But this is hip hop and them niggas should know what time it is // And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale // Pusha T, Meek Mill, ASAP Rocky, Drake //Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller // I got love for you all but I’m trying to murder you niggas // Trying to make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas // They don’t wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas // What is competition? I’m trying to raise the bar high."

Stream "Control (HOF)" below.

[Watch] ScHoolboy Q - "Collard Greens" Feat. Kendrick Lamar (Official Video)

It's Friday so why not watch a video for Schoolboy Q's Kendrick Lamar featuring track "Collard Greens" which sees the pair as floating heads. Remember that scene with P-Diddy in Get Him To The Greek? It's pretty much that. Maybe a Jeffrey was involved too? Who knows. Just another day at the office for these guys really as the rest of the video features scantily clad (NEKKID) ladies in a party-centric environment.

[Watch] Kendrick Lamar Visits Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Kendrick Lamar returned to the late night TV circuit once more last night. This time he was visiting the outdoor stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and with him he brought along two, to be expected, stellar performances. Taking highlights "Poetic Justice" and a slightly more child friendly version of "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" from his still amazing album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, and he rocked the stage as well as ever. Check out the former at the top with the latter being available after the jump.
