[Listen] Just Tell Me That You Want Me - 'A Tribute To Fleetwood Mac' (Full Album Stream)
We've heard a couple of songs from Just Tell Me You Want Me - A Tribute To Fleetwood Mac over the past few months. Today we get to stream the entire project which features covers of Fleetwood Mac from the likes of Tame Impala, MGMT, St. Vincent, Washed Out, The Kills and Lykke Li. [Listen] J Mascis and the Electronic Anthology Project - "Tarpit" (Dinosaur Jr. Cover)
Dinosaur Jr. have reissued their back catalog and made a tonne of fans very happy by touring full abum sets but J Mascis is now changing direction with a project alongside Built to Spill bassist, Brett Nelson. The Electronic Anthology Project is looking to release a synth record full of Dinosaur Jr. covers which will be released as a limited pressing of 500 on purple vinyl. Today you can see what the project sounds like in the shape of the "Tarpit" cover below which originally featured on the 1987 album, You're Living All Over Me, below courtesy of P4K.
The album is being released on the 21st of April 21for Record Store Day. A digital, CD, and standard vinyl release will follow. (Via Pitchfork)

J Mascis earlier this year released a solo album titled Several Shades of Why and to make sure that the world remembers the aforementioned album as the year comes to an end, Sub Pop are offering up a special treat. "I've Been Thinking" is a bonus track that featured on the LP's Japanese release. It'll be released as a 7” single as the B-side to "Circle" on November the 22nd. Give it a try before you buy below.
[News] Weezer Present The World With: The Weezer Cruise
Ever thought it'd be cool to hang out with River Cuomo and co? Ever wanted to go on a cruise? If you answered yes to both of those then Weezer may have just made your life a whole lot better. They've announced The Weezer Cruise. Included will be live performances from Weezer, naturally, but along with that Dinosaur Jr along with solo and acoustic shows from J Mascis. Also hitting up the ship will be Wavves, the Antlers, Boom Bip, Gene Ween and Dave Dreiwitz, Yuck, Free Energy, Keepaway and Yacht Rock Revue, whatever that is.
The cruise will travel from Miami to the Mexican island of Cozumel setting sail on January 19th until the 23rd. Including a Q & A with Weezer and all guests will get a photo with the band!

As we all know Daytrotter is the place for artists to lay down some nice versions of their tracks for us all to then enjoy and download over on the official site. Latest to go and have a sit down with them is the master of the frets, J Mascis. He dropped by to play some cuts off of his latest Several Shades of Why. J seems to like keeping his feet off of the ground, with the announcement of a Dinosaur Jr tour amongst other things.
