This Friday (5/18), Cheap Thrills' head honcho Hervé is throwing an album launch party in London at the The Nest with the likes of Rudimental, Baxta, Pixel Fist and more in anticipation of his upcoming debut album Pick Me Up, Sort Me Out, Calm Me Down, which drops this July.

Last month the man of many names dropped a remix for Usher's collaboration with Diplo, "Climax" and it's nasty enough to make you do just that out on the dance floor.

I swear, Hervé just cannot sit still for very long. When he's not working with his neighbors Mystery Jets on a dance hit with his partner Sinden, he's carefully putting together another collection of jams for his label, Cheap Thrills.

Donovans are the latest to sign to his label and I must say, this Parisian duo sounds incredibly promising. Will be keeping an eye out for them.

Cheap Thrills Volume 2 is out November 7th.

Today is a great day for music in the UK! Lots of really hot singles dropping today. One of those is The Count & Sinden (feat. The Mystery Jets) - "After Dark". Joshua Harvey (The Count/ Hervé/a million other names he's made up for his other projects) has his hands all over the place right now, doing remixes for just about every hot single in the market.

This morning he circulated this lovely little remix he did of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" and it's quite the banger, I must say.

Steve Aoki, Fischerspooner, Hervé, Kid Sister, To Perform 'Together' Season Finale

There are times that I wish I lived in London. This is one of those times. 

Closing out season one of as series of "16 special events" at the Corocet Theater in London called Together, hipster godSteve Aoki and friends/roster members of his label DIM MAK will be performing/DJing all night long on Friday (6/18). This includes (but does not limit to) performances by Aoki himself, Fischerspooner, Hervé, Kid Sister, Scanners, Motor, Don Diablo and more. 

London, please do me this service by attending this event. I would kill to go to this.

Sinden of the electronic dynamic duo The Count & Sinden is crossing the pond to hang out with us Americans for a few dates!! While I wish he was bringing The Count/Hervé with him (rawr, that foxy DJ of a man!), Sinden brings just as much awesome to the duo.
