[Watch] Feist Covers Guns N' Roses' "November Rain"

During a recent show in Mexico City, Feist took to the stage in support of her recently released album Metals. While on stage, Feist and her band performed a surprise cover of Guns N' Roses' classic hit "November Rain." In the midst of the cover, a Slash look-a-like showed up during the song's memorable guitar solo, and all that before Feist absolutely destroys a piñata. I have been on the hunt for some more gritty rock in my life and I think I've found something to feed my fix. Norweigan rock band Saivu, named after the Norwegian's take on the spiritual underworld where the living seek help from the dead, have offered up two free tracks over on Last.fm, "The Concept Of Dread" (video above) and "Invincible".

Fun fact: the band features guitar stylings from Richard Fortus of GNR fame. Dude RIPS into these songs. Loves it!

The video is all crazy sci-fi-esque, making what appears to be a girl from spare parts and magical blue goo. I'm totally into it.

[Stream and Download] Slash "Paradise City" Feat. Fergie and Cypress Hill x "Baby Can't Drive"

Earlier this week we listened to the album stream for Slash's solo effort and weren't as impressed with the final product compared to how much hype this album got. However, there are a few jewels on the album as well as rockin' bonus tracks. Slash brings back the Guns N Roses classic "Paradise City" for a redo with Hip Hop artists Cypress Hill and Black Eyed Peas' Fergie. But the track that made me smile was "Baby Can't Drive" which features iconic rocker Alice Cooper, Pussycat Dolls lead vocalist Nicole Scherzinger, Original GnR drummer Steven Adler & Red Hot Chili Peppers' awesome bassist Flea.
