We've bigged up The Dillinger Escape Plan a fair bit over the past few years. Well, I have anyway. Their new album, One of Us Is the Killer, is one of the year's highlights for me so far, and it's one of their finest. With a band like Dillinger though, they are a whole other beast in a live setting. So with that in mind they decided to offer up fans a preview of what they can expect on their upcoming tour with a live video accompanied by their track "Hero of the Soviet Union". The Dillinger Escape Plan have just unleashed their video for "One of Us Is the Killer", the title track from latest album. In a similar creepy vein as their last clip for "When I Lost My Bet", it sees some gory looking imagery paired alongside Greg singing, albeit it a little less blood tinged and minus a mask. This time though the rest of the band are their too. Is it just me or does the red string draped around the room make it look like a crime scene Dexter Morgan should be getting his hands on pretty soon?

The band have recently had to cancel upcoming Summer European dates due to Ben Weinman injuring his right hand. No news yet as to whether they'll be rescheduled.

[News] The Dillinger Escape Plan Announce UK Tour

 in the week I was blown away by the new album from The Dillinger Escape Plan. Following the release of One Of Us Is The Killer the band have now announced that they'll be crossing the Atlantic to cause some mayhem here in the UK later in 2013. Planning their tour for November you can catch the dates after the jump. If they're in your city I'd highly recommend checking them out live.

I've been super hyped to hear the new album from The Dillinger Escape Plan and this week my itch got well and truly scratched. The band have offered up One Of Us Is The Killer in its entirety via Pitchfork, so what are you waiting for? Go listen! The album delivers every aspect we've come to expect from the band. Intricate layers of intensely precise guitar hooks, ear belting vocals, along with bass lines and drum beats to shake your soul. They all come together and intertwine perfectly to deliver a well rounded and undeniably powerful package that will keep you coming back for more. It's been worth the wait.

After already previewing "Prancer" and "When I Lost My Bet" from their new album, One Of Us Is The Killer, The Dillinger Escape Plan have premiered another cut from the energetic sounding LP. A little more down tempo and melodic than the previous few previews, "Nothing's Funny" is every bit of Dillinger filled as you'd expect. Crazy riffs, punishing drums, bass to shake the contents of your apartment loose and wide ranging vocals from Greg. It's damn good.

The Dillinger Escape Plan are preparing to unleash what is shaping up to be a face melting new album called One Of Us The Killer. An album sampler surfaced at the start of the month and the record itself isn't set for release until the 14th of May via the band's own Party Smasher Inc., in partnership with Sumerian Records. We've also got to hear lead single "Prancer" last month. They've now released a rather graphic video for new track "When I Lost My Bet" and it's a little gory featuring blood and guts but I wouldn't fully class it as NSFW. Get out of the mid-week slump by hitting play and turning this ish up loud. Wakey, wakey!

I'll be honest, I'm not usually into album samplers. I'm also not usually as excited to hear a new album as I am for The Dillinger Escape Plan's follow up to 2010's Option Paralysis though. Titled One Of Us The Killer, it's set for release on the 14th of May via the band's own Party Smasher Inc., in partnership with Sumerian Records. So I thought you guys might be just as interested to hear what the band have in store for us. We've already got to hear the face shredding "Prancer" in full and now you can sample all 11 tracks from the album in a 6 minute and 26 second beast of a YouTube video above. 

Mark your calendars and prepare your eardrums guys. This sounds like one hell of a good record.

The Dillinger Escape Plan are preparing to release the beast known as the  follow up to 2010's Option Paralysis in the shape of a new record titled One Of Us Is The Killer in May. Late yesterday the band premiered a brand new track from the LP titled "Prancer" and it's every bit of DEP we've come to expect. Organised chaos that will full on wake you the eff up on a slow Tuesday morning. Seriously, turn this up loud and shake off the cobwebs a little while losing yourself a little bit. This was the last thing I heard before falling to sleep last night, and it's the first thing I've hit play on today. See if you find it as moreish as me.
