[Watch] Belle & Sebastian - "Crash" (The Primitives Cover) (Video)

Last month we heard a Belle & Sebastian Cover of The Primitives' track "Crash" which was released as part of the LateNight Tales, a music compilation series that "invites the world’s best artists to delve deep into their music collections to create the ultimate ‘late night’ selection." Today we get an animated video to accompany the track which sees the band take the form of some rather blockheaded looking musicians. Check it out at the top via Prefix.

The latest installment of the series comes courtesy of Belle & Sebastian and features tracks from Broadcast, The Pop Group, Toro Y Moi, and Gold Panda. [Listen] Belle and Sebastian - "Write About Love" Full Album

Today is shaping up to be a pretty good day on the music front for you guys! Courtesy of NPR you can now listen to their eighth  studio offering Write About Love in its entirety. The album is out on on October 12th, head over in this direction to pre-order it. It may be a change of tone for the group but it certainly doesn't make it any less of an awesome listen. The album was produced by Tony Hoffer who produced their last full length album, The Life Pursuit which was received with open arms by the critics back in 2006. So, what do you guys make of this?

The first single from the next studio effort from Belle and Sebastian, is an uptempo, happy sounding track, so much so that as I'm typing this I'm sat with a little smirk on my face.
