Nardwuar the Human Serviette is loved by many, conducting interviews intelligently and offering plenty of gifts to those lucky musicians. On the other hand, there are many people out there who can't stand the quirky Canadian. In this particular case, though, I urge everyone to press play. Nardwuar recently interviewed ?uestlove (of The Roots and Jimmy Fallon fame), with the whole interview lasting a mind-boggling 46 minutes. [News] The Roots Announce New Album: '&TYSYC'
The infamous ?uestlove has taken to Twitter to announce that The Roots are working on a brand new album which is called &TYSYC. The album will be their fourteenth(!!) and follows up last year's great sounding Undun and it "will be regular". Take that how you will. No news on release date as of yet but for now let's try and guess what &TYSYC stands for. Answers on a postcard please.

The Roots' ?uestlove and tUnE-yArDs have teamed up for a cover of Fela Kuti's "Lady," which is to be included on an upcoming compilation titled Red Hot + FELA. The track is available to stream below, and can also be purchased on iTunes. The compilation is a collaboration between RED, an AIDS charity, and Red Hot Organization, with all proceeds benefitting the charities' battle against AIDS.
According to Billboard, the compilation, which also marks the beginning of the (RED) RUSH TO ZERO campaign, will be released later this fall.
