[Listen] Gallows - 'Gallows' (Full Album Stream)
I've always respected Gallows as a band. They were one of the first gigs I checked out back in Sheffield years ago and the energy they had/have in a live setting is intense. Last year they parted ways with frontman Frank Carter who now has a new project, Pure Love, and Wade MacNeil of Alexisonfire stepped in and the results are pretty damn impressive. Not many bands can survive the loss of a frontman but Gallows have thrived and fought through it with great success. I've had the album on heavy repeat for a few weeks and it's a full-throttle machine of riffs and chugging bass. It's well worth a Friday listen and if you really like it you can pick it up on Monday when it's released.
Regarding the LP the band have said:
"This our statement of intent, our laugh in the face of those who said Gallows were done when in reality we're just warming up. We couldn't feel more vindicated and proud."
Check out their tour dates after the jump.
