[Listen] Lady Gaga - "Marry The Night" (The Weeknd x Illangelo Remix)

As Lady Gaga readies for the release of Born This Way: The Remix, fans are treated to a very nice sounding remix of her track "Marry The Night" from The Weeknd and producer Illangelo. The track will feature remixes from the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, Hurts, Metronomy and one we've already heard from Wild Beasts and will hit stores the world over on November 21st (UK) / 22nd (US). [Listen] Lady Gaga - "Yoü And I" (Wild Beasts Remix)

It's not often you find a Lady Gaga related post gracing the face of SKoA, but it's not everyday you see a small UK band from Kendal in the middle of nowhere being asked to officially remix the biggest musician alive today is it?! Wild Beasts have turned Gaga's latest single "Yoü And I" into a slow jam that's distant drum sound and rumbling bass lines are far away from the original over the top record Gaga had created. Hayden Thorpe of the band said that: “Gaga in many ways is the epitome of what we are not. She is the butcher to our butter knife. The essential thrill is always to keep eluding what is expected of us and what we expect of ourselves." Check out the official, albeit unlikely remix below.

The remix is also helping raise awareness to the ways people can support independent labels that lost stock in the Pias UK warehouse fire. More information on that can be found over at the AIM website.

[Listen] Friendly Fires - "Edge Of Glory" (Lady Gaga Cover) Radio One Live Lounge

Friendly Fires were the musicians stepping into the Radio One Live lounge today and they brought with them a fun cover of Lady Gaga's "Edge Of Glory". Putting an indie pop cowbell twang to Gaga's lead single from her recent release. Friendly Fires do well to make it their own with weird synth tones and a cow bell filled drum beat. It'll make you want to get up out of your office chair and dance. Nothing against Gaga but I actually prefer this version for a feel good summer vibe. These guys seem to bring the sun with them wherever they go. It could just be the bad shirts though.

[News] Arcade Fire to perform at the Grammys

Last year was a huge year for Arcade Fire following the release of their ridiculously good, and our number 2 album of 2010, The Suburbs. Rightly so they up for three Grammy Awards this year, including the Album of the Year award, which is what counts, right? News came yesterday that not only are they nominated but they are to be performing at the Grammys too! So that's another reason to watch the show which will be broadcast on February 13th at 8pm Eastern. Why can't I live in the States?!

On a side note, Arcade Fire are also taking part in the Grammys' promotional campaign Music Is Life Is Music, which includes a website and mobile app. With the image at the top about to be seen all over the US on billboards and in print. Arcade Fire aren't going anywhere just yet.

DJ Hero 2 Announced, Features Deadmau5, Kanye, Dre, Gaga and More, Plus Free DLC of Deadmau5 vs Lady Gaga

DJ Hero 2 is set to hit stores this fall. The new game is set to feature music from Dr. Dre, The Chemical Brothers, Kanye West, Metallica, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and over 85 others. The game will feature new social multiplayer game modes and freestyle gameplay. Deadmau5 will be starring as an in-game playable character. DJ Hero 2 will also be available as a "Party Bundle", which includes the game *insert beck voice*, two turntable (controllers) and a microphone.

To get fans ready, you can now download a DJ Hero 2 mix of Lady GaGa's "Just Dance" and Deadmau5's "Ghosts 'n' Stuff" for DJ Hero. The DLC is currently available for free until June 14th. Check out the audio of the new DLC above.
