[News] HARD Summer Music Festival 2011 announces official lineup

Today, the official lineup for this years HARD Summer Music Festival was announced, and holy shit is it ever good. The festival, which focuses mainly on electronic music, will boast headlining performances by Duck Sauce, Boys Noize, Chromeo, Ratatat, Skrilliex, and everyone's favourite rap collective Odd Future. The festival will also feature performances by James Murphy and Pat Mahoney of LCD Soundsystem, Digitalism, Carte Blanche (the live collaborative debut of DJ Mehdi and Riton), Caspa, Holy Ghost!, Jack Beats, a DJ set from Karlsson & Winnberg of Miike Snow, Nero, Emalkay, Shit Robot, Acid Jacks, Busy Pictionary (the collaboration between Busy P and So Me), and many more.

The festival takes place on August 6th in downtown Los Angeles, and features four stages. Running one night only, the festival will go from 6 pm to 2 am, with advance tickets selling for $50 - $75. You can purchase tickets for the festival here, and visit hardfest.com for more information.

[Listen] Daft Punk - "End Of Line" (Boys Noize Remix)

Lets kick this Music Monday off right! A few days ago BBC Radio 1's DJ, Annie Mac premiered a new track "End of Line" remixed by Boys Noize from the upcoming Daft Punk remix album Tron Legacy R3CONF1GUR3D. This track was one of my favorite tunes from the original score and Boys Noize definitely do the track justice by transforming it into a club banger. Shouts to BF2D for the heads up on this one.

[Download] David Lynch - “Good Day Today" (Boys Noize Remix)


Boys Noize have remixed the track "Good Day Today" from David Lynch and I must say I like it. Usually remixes are one extreme or another(insanely brilliant or awful) but the unusual factors David Lynch threw into this track prior to BN getting into it, this version is pretty cool as well as trippy. Adding some more thumping drum beats and drones to the track along with off beat notes it creates a nice sound. You can download the track below and see what I mean. Weird auto tune paired with the hypnotic beat may send you under mind, if it's been a long day, you have been warned. Enjoy.
