Bulletproof Monster, the second installment in The Revox Suite , was a challenging experiment. The acapella of Nicki Minaj's verse from "Monster" is in a vault somewhere so I was forced to use it with Kanye's beat underneath, which made adding new vocals tricky. I also had to digitally alter La Roux's "Bulletproof" melody to make it fit the "Monster" beat. Add my revox to that and it feels like I've created a musical Frankenstein. Fitting, I think. Electronic super producers and SKoA/local favorites The Glitch Mob have teamed up with Mishka NYC to collaborate on a new mixtape titled Drink The Sea Part 2. This awesome 30 minute mix features our favorite joints from the groups most recent effort Drink The Sea and mashes vocals from some of our favorite rappers and musicians like Jay-Z, Game, Lil Wayne, M.I.A., La Roux, Daft Punk and more. The guys had so much fun working on the "Bad Wings" vs. La Roux's "In For The Kill" that they decided to post it on it's own as a free download.
