Yesterday in Radio One's Live Lounge the UK's very own Band of Skulls took a break from supporting Black Keys to perform their own track along with a mystery cover, and the cover was a little bit of a surprise. Well, it is the live lounge after all! The Southampton band put in a cover of Example's "Changed The Way You Kissed Me" and the results are surprisingly great. See what you make of the cover along with a performance of their current single "Bruises".

Now whilst that was great for the fans at the show us people not there were left to watch videos on Youtube and maybe just think, "that's cool", but today as BPM point out the band have upped a sound-board quality recording complete with footage taken at the show! Give it a watch at the top of the page.

[Watch] The Flaming Lips - "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" Feat. Nels Cline (Beatles Cover)
Yesterday we got to hear one of the collaborations Wayne Coyne and his gang The Flaming Lips had been working on with Bon Iver. Today comes footage of the band performing another cover of The Beatles. Remember the "I Am The Walrus" cover over the holidays where they're all high as kites? This is a little more tame, and by that I mean they're not wrapped in special blankets and rocking back and fourth between licking weird objects. The performance is of the Abbey Road featuring "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" and for the track they have some help from the guitar machine that is Nels Cline of Wilco. Seriously, if you're into guitars and pedals this guy is da bomb. Youtube him if not. The rendition of the track is 17 minutes long and it's bloody good!
Speaking of Wilco, did you see their insanely cool new video featuring Popeye yesterday?!
