[Watch] Hercules and Love Affair Perform "Blind" with Antony Hegarty for the First Time
Hercules and Love Affair's 2008 eponymous debut album was an absolute gem, one that I still play on a consistent basis. One song stood out above the rest, though, and that was "Blind", the band's collaborative track with Antony Hegarty. The track still stands as the band's best. But, those who have seen Hercules and Love Affair live will know that the two parties have never performed the song together in a live setting, until now. Last night at London's Meltdown Festival, Hercules and Love Affair were joined onstage by Antony, who belted out a fantastic rendition of "Blind" backed by the full band. Check out fan footage of the performance above, along with fan footage of them performing "Raise Me Up" after the jump.

Queens indie pop band Freelance Whales are following up their 2009 debut LP Weathervanes this fall with Diluvia, and now they will be aiding the release with a month-long tour. Starting on October 4th in Chicago, the tour will take the indie outfit to every major stop along the North American circuit. Check out the band's full tour itinerary, which includes stops at Austin City Limits and Capital Corona, after the jump.
Diluvia will be released on October 9th via Frenchkiss Records, and if you've yet to hear the album's lead single "Locked Out", stream it below.
[Watch] Mount Eerie - "The Place Lives" (Official Video)
Phil Elverum , aka Mount Eerie, has given us the music video for "The Place Lives", the first visuals from his latest LP Clear Moon. Being a native of the Pacific Northwest, Elverum's visual accompaniment sees him journeying through the dense, emerald forests that the region is known for. Being a native of the Pacific Northwest as well, the natural beauty Elverum indulges in is very familiar to me. Although, for those who've yet to experience these lush evergreen forests in person, this video is a perfect example of this majestic environment. Watch the replay above.
Mount Eerie's latest LP Clear Moon is out now via Elverum's own P.W. Elverum and Sun imprint, and his second album of the year, Ocean Roar, is set to drop on September 4th. To support both of his 2012 releases, Mount Eerie will be touring throughout September and October. Check out his full tour itinerary after the jump.
[News] Matt and Kim Announce North American Tour
Matt and Kim will hit the road this fall in support of their fourth studio LP Lightning, which hits stores on October 2nd via FADER. The North American tour will see the Brooklyn duo performing in 38 cities over the course of a month and a half, and every stop they make will see them playing host to each city's No-Kill Animal Shelter. At each venue they perform at, the pair will give fans the opportunity to learn about how they can support their local no-kill locations. Definitely a worthy cause.
Check out Matt and Kim's full tour schedule after the jump, where you can also check out the video for "Let's Go", the lead single from Lightning.
