[Listen] The Prodigy - "Firestarter" (Death Grips Remix)

I remember being about 7-8 years old and my Grandparents owned a pub. I used to get coins off of them before the pub opened for business and put music on really loudly via the jukebox. I remember vividly dancing to The Prodigy's "Firestarter" repeatedly like I was possessed  by some otherworldly demon. My Granddad once caught me and I still to this day have never been so embarrassed. It's one of those tracks that just makes you want to move.

At the end of last year the legendary UK band actually released an extended edition of The Fat of the Land complete with some bonus remixes. Not included on that release though was what we have on offer for you here; a remix from Death Grips. Check out their rework of the classic track that once caused me great embarrassment below and get your Friday off to a great start. If you're going to dance though, ake sure you're alone. Or drunk.

[Listen] Rudimental - "Hell Could Freeze" Feat. Angel Haze (Skream Remix)

The talented Oliver Jones, better known as Skream, has reworked the great sounding track from Rudimental which we heard back in November last year, "Hell Could Freeze". Taking the original Angel Haze featuring track, Oli transforms the already laidback original into a track that will go well in the coming months once the evenings get a bit warmer and we enjoy our time outside with friends and beers. Just as the sun begins to set, you now the vibe. Angel's verses remain intact too and fit in nicely around the rework. Premiered on Annie Mac's show, you can stream it below via Hypetrak.

Rudimental's debut album Home is set for release later this month on the 29th of April.

[Listen] Jay-Z Features on Kendrick Lamar's Remix of "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe"

It was only a matter of time before Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z collaborated. The pair team up to remix Lamar's "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe", and with the quality of Hova's bars on the track it was definitely worth the wait. Stream the remix below, and check out its artwork above (we'll let you decide, between Jay-Z and Lamar, who is Jordan and who is Kobe).

[Watch] D-E-W-L - "Nobody Make A Sound" (Official Video) & Wave Machines Remix

The duo D-E-W-L unleashed their track "Nobody Make A Sound" earlier in the year but I completely forgot to throw it up. It's dark, unsettling and the video accompaniment is just as twisted. It features a narrative of two deaf girls sneaking out and meeting a suspicious looking older man in a car. It's a little unnerving but it sits perfectly alongside the D-E-W-L track. Watch the video at the top.

As well as that though you can check out a remix from Liverpool's Wave Machines who turn the first part of the track into an equally eerie spacious number but as it progresses it turns into a little more of a dance worthy number, albeit a number you'd find yourself dancing to at 5am at WHP but still, it's a little more uptempo drum filledwith it's pad beats. The air of strange is still fully intact from the original though. Check that out below.

[Listen] Four Tet Streams New Track, Remixes Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie"

Four Tet made damn good use of this day, waking everyone up from their case o' the Mondays with a bangin' new track titled "For These Times" and a slick twitchy remix of Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie".

First up, "For These Times" was recorded for Nonplus' Think And Change compilation, and it's incredibly good. From start to finish, this five-minute cut vibrates with jazzy undertones and rattling snares, grabbing you by the collar and never loosening its grip. Tet's remix of JT's slick single is equally as fantastic, as he highlights Timberlake's saccharine voice while tossing the rest aside. Underneath the vocal sample lies a complex twitchy house beat, with repetition and building being the name of the game; with each progressing minute Justin's singing is met with ever-expanding production. Stream both below.

[Listen] The Field Remixes Tame Impala's "Mind Mischief"

Tame Impala's psychedelic rock stylings get remixed by Swedish producer The Field. The latest single to come from Lonerism, "Mind Mischief" gets extended from four-and-a-half minutes to nearly eleven, with every high and low met with cosmic synthesizers and warped production. Press play and let the mesmerizing psychedelic sounds envelop, and, for comparison, check out the original song and its accompanying video below.

[Listen] Stream Juicy J's Remix of Passion Pit's "Constant Conversations"

In the "god damn, I didn't expect that" category this past week is Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J, who recently dropped a remix of labelmate Passion Pit's mellow cut "Constant Conversations". J's remix holds on to the smooth, seductive rhythms and falsetto samples, which serve as a surprisingly perfect fit for his crisp verses. Check it out below, and let us know what you think of this random pairing.
