[News] Big K.R.I.T. Announces Summer Tour
Big K.R.I.T.'s debut studio album Live from the Underground is set to drop on June 5th via Def Jam, and in support of the forthcoming release, the Mississippi rapper has announced a summer tour throughout North America. Starting on July 11th, K.R.I.T. will tour across North America, performing in 27 cities in just over a month, including a stop in Chicago for this year's Pitchfork Music Festival. [News] Chromatics Release 'Kill for Love (DRUMLESS)'
Chromatics' fantastic fourth studio album Kill for Love is easily one of the best albums of the year so far, and today the Portland outfit has shown that they are highly appreciative of their fans and they support they give. The band has released a stripped down, DRUMLESS version of Kill for Love and are offering it for free for anyone and everyone to download. [News] Twin Shadow Announces "Ton Up" Tour
Twin Shadow has announced a slew of tour dates, collectively called the "Ton Up" tour, in support of his forthcoming sophomore LP Confess. The sophomore effort is set for release on July 10th via 4AD, and the tour begins just two weeks after that, taking George Lewis Jr. and co. through till the end of September. [News] Youth Lagoon Adds Summer Tour Dates
Trevor Powers (aka Youth Lagoon) has extended his touring schedule following his lengthy tour opening for Death Cab for Cutie. With a few more dates opening for the Seattle band, Powers will take a month and a half off, reutnring in early July to furhter support his debut LP The Year of Hibernation. The 14-date headlining tour will see support from Father John Misty, and will finish up in Portland on July 22nd. Take a look at his full tour schedule after the jump.
[News] Sleigh Bells Announce Summer Tour Dates
Following a few more opening performances for the Red Hot Chili Peppers over the next few days, Sleigh Bells have announced a number of summer tour dates to further support their sophomore LP Reign of Terror. Included in this tour is a one-off stint with Hot Chip and James Murphy in Columbia, MD on July 22nd, as well as performances at Pitchfork Music Festival and Forecastle Festival. [News] Florence & The Machine and The Weeknd Set to Tour Together
It seems that Florence & The Machine's endless tour dates in support of Ceremonials will continue even further into 2012, as the band has announced a third leg of tour dates in the U.S. Not only that, but The Weeknd will be opening for them on five separate nights in September and October. For those lucky enough to be in Los Angeles, San Diego, Camden, NJ, Columbia, MD, or Mountain View, CA, do yourself a favour and get a ticket for a double dose of fantastic music.
