[Watch] Passion Pit - "Carry On" (fun. Cover)
Taking on Vevo's "Unexpected Covers" series, Passion Pit offer up an intriguing take on fun.'s huge hit "Carry On". Lead singer, Michael Angelakos , takes it back to basics and turns the tune into a stripped down piano lead ballad. It's a very nice rendition that shows Michael's talents off nicely and is surely a nice break from the original which received a damn lot of radio play here in the UK. You can see for yourselves above.
[Wacth] fun. - "We Are Young" Live on Letterman
It's hard to escape this song at the moment. It's getting played to death by most radio stations in the UK, I don't know about elsewhere but hey, it's not getting too old (yet). Last night fun. visited David Letterman to perform "We Are Young" with the results being viewable again at the top of the page courtesy of The Audio perv.
Their album Some Nights is out now.

[Download] fun. - "One Foot"
Last Tuesday night the cast of Glee had their way with fun.'s first single, "We Are Young" from their upcoming album Some Nights, which is set for release on Fueled By Ramen on February 21st, 2012. Less than a week later Nylon Magazine has another taste from the upcoming album, "One Foot" - a loud brass filled track that marches through your eardrums and stubbornly refuses to escape your brain until it's good and ready to leave. The band is prepping to head out on tour starting on February 9th in support of the upcoming release. You can head over to their website to have a look at the extensive list of dates.
[Listen] Panic! at the Disco & fun. - "C'mon"
Courtesy of Spin, today we can take a look at this nice little collaboration between Panic! at the Disco and fun., who are a band comprised of members from the Format, Anathallo, and Steel Train. Fun are set to be the opening act on Panic's up-coming tour across the states.
The track fuses together the orchestral extravaganza feel that Panic! have going on since their new album, Vices and Virtues, and puts it next to the pop-tastic sounds of fun.. In an interview with Spin, Nate Ruess frontman of fun. said; "We went into the session not really knowing much about the Panic! guys...But we came out, not only with what I think is a really good song, but with a couple of really great friends that we have a huge amount of respect and admiration for."
Seems like they all had a hoot recording the track, so why not give it a listen below and let us know what you think. The tour dates on which you can catch both Panic! and fun. are after the jump.
