[Download] Z-Trip Mashes Public Enemy's "Bring The Noise" With Led Zeppelin & Justice

Ironically, as I fell into my drunken stooper last night at my favorite bars here in Las Vegas, the videogame loungerbar known as Insert Coins (cheap plug, I know.), my night was being soundtracked by one of the greatest mashup mixes of all time 'Uneasy Listening Vol. 1' by DJ Z-Trip and DJ-P. Now after waking up after last nights follies with an incredible hangover (thanks Tequila), I run into 2 new mixes from Z-Trip of Public Enemy's "Bring The Noise" amongst my normal browsing.

Take a listen to first mix which mashes up Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" below:

And the second which mashes Justice's "Genesis" and features Zakk Wylde and was also featured on the videogame DJ Hero. Check it out below:

Z-Trip also remixed Kasabian's latest single "Days Are Forgotten" recently which featured a pretty sweet cameo from Hip Hop legend LL Cool J. You can take a listen to the track here and if you feel like getting into a drunken stooper yourself while having your night sound tracked by Z-Trip, check out his upcoming gigs below and I promise after this post I will never use the term "drunken stooper" ever again.

[Listen] Kasabian - "Days Are Forgotten" (Z-Trip Remix) Feat. LL Cool J

When word got out at the beginning of the month that Kasabian had paired up with LL Cool J you couldn't help but stop and scratch your head a little. How...what..why? It just seemed like an unusual combination at best. Like peanut butter and Ketchup. It's just odd. However, yesterday the track got out when it was premiered on Huw Stephens' show who was sitting in for Zane Lowe. The track was dubbed as the hottest record in the world right now and I can see why. The original track "Days Are Forgotten" has a certain James Bond 007 feel to it don't you think but this mix from Z-Trip featuring the aforementioned verse from LL flips it on its side creating a new beast. Spitting his part 2 minutes in, the song flows well with the addition of LL Cool J. Unlike peanut butter and ketchup this combination actually works!

This will be released as a B-Side to the single on September 11th along with another previously unheard track "Pistols At Dawn". All I know is, we want more new Kasabian 'cos what we've heard so far is incredible. This isn't the usual from Serge and the boys and it's a curve ball to say the least. But, what's life without a few of those? A stagnant pond waiting to dry out and fade into nothingness? Why not keep it fresh with something a little different and hit play on the Z-Trip remix below. Dope.
