[Listen] Young the Giant - "Empire Ants" (Unplugged Gorillaz Cover)

Young the Giant put in one hell of a decent cover of the Gorillaz track "Empire Ants" recently during an MTV Unplugged session. The California band start off with a pretty sedated cover of the track before introducing multiple percussionists (always cool in my eyes), along with a string section to turn what was an already great track into a bit of a different animal. Another band at this years Weenie Roast held by KROQ was California's Young The Giant, who stopped by to blast out a set for the onlooking fans. Check out their performance at the top courtesy of, you guessed it, The Audio Perv.

[Listen] Young The Giant - "Rolling In The Deep" (Adele Cover)

With Adele making such an impact the world over right now it was always going to be thecase that people started to cover her glorious tracks. Today we get to hear one of them, from Californian boys Young The Giant. They've taken on Adele's chart topping track, "Rolling In The Deep" which features on her UK number 1 album 21, which is set for release in the states next week. The acoustic guitar works really well with the track paired with the layering voices of the band adds a personal touch to the track. A really great cover which was originally recorded for Dermot O'Leary's BBC Radio 2 show, earlier on in the month. Check it out for yourselves below.

[Watch] Young The Giant - "My Body" x "Apartment" Live on Jimmy Kimmel

Last night Young The Giant appeared on national TV for the first time in the form of Jimmy Kimmel's late night show. They performed “My Body” and "Apartment" off of their self-titled album which you can pick up over here. Up at the top you can see them perform "My Body" and after the jump see them belt out debut single "Apartment". Once again thanks to our friends over at Audio Perv for the video.
