[Watch] Skrillex x The Doors - "Breakn' A Sweat"

Remember last year when everyone was a bit taken a back by the announcement and then release of a track with the surviving member of The Doors and Skrillex? Well, that track titled "Breakn' A Sweat", which was part of the RE:GENERATION project, has now been given the official video treatment. The video shows the odd pairing busy creating the track in the Studio and can be watched at the top. What do you guys make of this pairing and the whole mainstream growth of dubstep within the past year? Love it...hate it... let us know.

[Listen] The Doors - "She Smells So Nice"


The Doors are currently prepping the release of a 40th anniversary double CD edition of their final LP, L.A. Woman, but whilst doing so they’ve found a little gem that was cast aside some 40 years ago. Titled "She Smells So Nice" the track is now available to listen to in a remastered form below via the band’s Facebook page. [Listen] Skrillex & The Doors - "Breakin' A Sweat (It's Alright)"

Well. Another day rolls around and another collaboration that I can't quite wrap my head around or quite fully understand. Now, I like The Doors and I've been know to dance like a madman after a few too many beers to Skrillex on a weekend but Skrillex + The Doors = Win? I'm not sure.

The remaining members of The Doors came together with the now huge dubstep DJ and producer Sonny as part of the Re:Generation project from Amir Bar-Lev. We've heard a few previews of what the project has to offer so far but here is another. Love it? Hate it? We want to know.

[Listen] Hear 2 Tracks From The Re:Generation Documentary Feat. Skrillex x The Doors & DJ Premier x NaS

Myself and Adrian had the pleasure to check out the Hyundai event during CMJ for the upcoming documentary Re:Generations which features some of our favorite artists like Mark Ronson, DJ Premier, Skrillex, The Crystal Method and Nas. Now, you can hear 2 tracks from the upcoming film, the first we heard during DJ Premier's mix session at the Hyundai Re:mix labs event titled "Regeneration" features DJ Premier's original take on classical music and features Nas and the Berklee Symphony Orchestra. Check it out below. 

The second track is the long awaited collaboration from one of the hottest dubstep producers at the moment Skrillex and the remaining members of classic rock group The Doors. Check out "Breakin' A Sweat (It's Alright)" in the player below.
