[Listen] Stream The 2 Bears' Debut Album 'Be Strong'
To celebrate the release of their debut studio album Be Strong, The 2 Bears, consisting of Hot Chip's Joe Goddard and U.K. DJ Raf Daddy, have made the entirety of the LP available to stream via Soundcloud. As well, the duo have made the St. Etienne remix of their lead single "Work," which is included on the deluxe edition of Be Strong, available to stream and download.
Be Strong is out today, and is available to purchase on both iTunes and Amazon.

With their debut LP Be Strong set for release on January 31st, The 2 Bears, aka Hot Chip's Joe Goddard and U.K. DJ Raf Daddy, have released the first single from the album, "Work," as an EP, complete with remixes by Toddla T, Frank Rizardo, Supabeatz and Oliver $. The entirety of the EP has been made available for streaming via the duo's Soundcloud page, along with a free download of their track "Time In Mind," which you can download here. Be Strong is due out on January 30th in the U.K. via Southern Fried and on January 31st in North America via DFA Records.

When not together as dance outfit Hot Chip, each of the group's members keeps the creativity flowing in other musical endeavors. Just this year, frontman Alexis Taylor has done work the About Group, Felix Martin and Al Doyle formed New Build along with their engineer Tom Hopkins, and Joe Goddard has teamed up with fellow U.K. DJ Raf Daddy to form The 2 Bears.
As The 2 Bears, the duo has remixed Death Cab for Cutie and was featured on their Keys and Codes Remix EP, released three EPs of their own, and, as was announced today, are set to release their debut LP on January 31st via DFA Records. The album, titled Be Strong, is set to release digitally on January 31st with a physical release coming later in the spring. After the jump, you can take a look at the upcoming album's track listing, as well as watch the video for "Work." The song, which is our first taste of the album, draws significant influence from 90s house, albeit adding it's own flavour. Check it out for yourself after the jump!

[Listen] Death Cab for Cutie - "You Are A Tourist" (The 2 Bears Remix)
On November 22nd, Death Cab for Cutie's Codes and Keys Remix EP will be released via Atlantic Records. Every week leading up to the release, each of the EP's seven tracks will be released one week at a time on their website. Last week, we heard Cut Copy's EP opening remix of "Doors Unlocked and Open," and this week we get a taste of track two with The 2 Bear's remix of "You Are A Tourist."
