[Watch] Prince Visits Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Last night the man with the magic fingers, the artist that really doesn't need any introduction, a man who's had a few name changes over the years, Prince, made a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! Performing on the outdoor stage wearing a glittery gold Hendrix-esque outfit the performance was down right great. I have a huge respect for this guy and his musical ability. Even if you're not a fan of his music you can't deny the talent.

He performed "Rock and Roll Love Affair"  along with "The Dance Electric" and you can relive the magic right here courtesy of The Audio Perv. You know th drill. The latter is after the jump with "Rock and Roll Love Affair" being up at the top.

[Listen] Muse - "Sign of the Times" (Prince Cover) Live in Radio One's Live Lounge

Earlier in the week we heard Mumford & Sons cover Alt-J's "Tessellate" in a Radio One Live Lounge special. Today they held another special show for the arena veterans that are Muse. You know, that band who are about to release their sixth studio album, The 2nd Law, on Monday October 1st. We got to hear the album in full earlier on in the week and as we mentioned it's more than a little to take in. It jumps from genre to genre with each track yet we've kind of come to expect that from the three piece in recent years. In the live lounge today they played some new tracks and old and also offered up a cover that they've played numerous times live in recent weeks. It was Prince's "Sign  the Times" from his 1987 album of the same name. Big guitar lines and a soaring vocals from Matt. See what you make of it below.

Muse also performed on Jools Holland earlier in the week with the full show set to  be broadcast this evening. You can watch them perform "Panic Station" and "Madness" over here in the mean time though.

[Listen] Prince - "Extraloveable" (2011 Version)

The legendary one Prince climbs back into his vault to re-record the previously unreleased tune "Extraloveable." The new version of the song slows things down a bit and is alot less guitar heavy unlike it's previous outtake which originally surfaced back in 1999 on the bootleg album Bootleg Collection, Vol. 1. However, the sexy funky essence of the song still remains the same even though the style has been changed up. Take a listen to both versions below and let us know which one you prefer.

[Watch] Prince Shares A Stage With Cee-Lo Green and Perform Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy"

Last night Prince took to the stage at Madison Square Garden as part of his 'Welcome 2 America' to perform a range of hits for the packed out arena. Now, not only that but he had a few guests appear on stage with him, most notable to the SKoA crew would be Mr Cee Lo-Green who came on stage to perform "Crazy". Gnarls Barkley aka Cee Lo and Danger Mouse released "Crazy" originally back in 2006 (man that doesn't seem that long ago!).Check out the fan shot footage at the top.

I nearly forgot to add too, that Prince got Kim Kardashian up on stage to have a dance with him, apart from there was a slight glitch as Kim refused to dance. Shame, as then Prince led her abruptly off stage leading to Kim tweeting, “I was so nervous I froze when Prince touched me”. You can see the footage of this little debacle after the jump.
