Soul Culture points to this interesting take on Eminem and Dr. Dre's hit track "I Need A Doctor" from the youtube sensation that is Karmin. Recorded for Billboard at Lollapalooza, they begin with a variation on the original using a stomp box and acoustic guitar before being joined by Skylar Grey herself midway through the track. The performance is great and it's nice to see that all the artists have a mutual respect for each other, so much so that they'll step in and sing with one another at any given opportunity.

Maaaan, I need to get on Youtube and start doing covers of bands and putting a twist on them, major label deals and jamming with dope artists because of it? Yeah I'd take that. That's exactly what Karmin has done and today you can check out her covering Nicki Minaj. I know this isn't the usual kind of post but the covers they've been doing have intrigued me, and now she's got the help of ?uest it's gotta be worth a peek right?
