[Listen] Ed Sheeran - "Who You Are" (Jessie J Cover)

Earlier in the week the tireless Ed Sheeran paid a visit to the Radio 2 studio for a little chin wag with Dermot O'Leary. Whilst there though he laid down a few tracks for the listeners of the show. Ed seems to be able to play anytime and anything he puts his mind to. This time around he put in a great cover of Jessie J's track "Who You Are" with the results being below for your listening pleasure courtesy of our friends at The House of Coxhead. For the full interview and the performance of "Lego House" jump over here to the official Beeb site.

[Listen] Jessie J - "Who's Laughing Now" (Xaphoon Jones Remix)

Take a listen to the handy work of Xaphoon Jones on UK songstress, Jessie J's track "Who's Laughing Now". The track features on Jessie's full length debut, and although she had luke warm reception in the US, the UK seem to love her. I know right?! Xaphoon has done the dirty to the track though and now, add some tribal sounding beats and heavy synths and boom I can listen to a Jessie J song without wanting to turn around and walk away from my laptop. Check it out below via Purple PR.

[Watch] Jessie J - "Price Tag" Live on Leno

Here in the UK you can't turn a radio on without hearing Jessie J over eagerly stretching her vocal chords. Especially as Radio One tipped her to be a major breakthrough this year. It seems they placed their bets well as last night she tried to expand her audience across the pond by performing Live on The Tonight Show Jay Leno. From what I gathered about the general census on Jessie when talking to natives over on that side of the pond is that a lot of people seem confused by her, this was following her spot on Saturday Night Live I should add.

I wonder if the talent will be more visable on Leno's show performance here. Make your own minds up and look out for her LP Who You Are which has hit stores in the US this week. There's no doubting her talent but is she falunting it a little too much? Maybe I'm just jealous, who knows.

[Listen] The Wombats - "Price Tag" (Jessie J Cover In BBC Live Lounge)

Liverpudlian music makers The Wombats were Fearne Cotton's musical guests yesterday on her morning slot on Radio One. They performed a great rendition of their current single . But in addition to that, as you may have learnt by this point, when bands step into the Live Lounge they often bring along a re-worked cover to perform for the masses. Yesterday The Wombats took on the hit single from Jessie J, "Price Tag" with the help of some backing singers and a host of instruments and the results were pretty damn good. Check it out below.

[News] Radio One's Big Weekend Main Stage Lineup Revealed; Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, Lady Gaga...

Every year Radio One put on their 'Big Weekend' at which a range of artists play slots to fans all who have won tickets for the event. I personally won tickets one year and the atmosphere is great due to everyone having a free weekend watching some great bands it truly is a little bit special. You may not like the entire lineup due to it being mainly Radio One plugged artists, and we wouldn't blame you. However with the amount of bands set to play there's always a stage to enjoy something at.

This year they announced, literally within the past hour, that Foo Fighters would be headlining the Saturday, with My Chemical Romance topping the bill on the Sunday. Then throughout both days on the main stage there's the likes of Tinie Tempah, Plan B, Chase and Status, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Black Eyed Peas, Nicole Sherzinger, Professor Green, Katy B, The Wombats, The Script along with a few others. That's just the main stage, throughout the week the other stages will be announced on numerous Radio One shows so keep your eyes peeled as we'll update this as and when. You can see the announced line up so far over here. Tickets are often given out in a raffle style way, or to loyal listeners of Radio One, and you enter competitions and what not. It's hard to get tickets but it's definitely worth a shot for a weekend full of free music. For now why not enjoy some footage of Muse playing the weekend a few years back.

UPDATE: Lady Gaga has just been announced too! For a free festival some of its performers rival those of major UK festivals. Just sayin'.

[Listen] Fenech Soler Take On Jessie J's "Do It Like A Dude" For BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge

Check out the UK boys, Fenech Soler taking a step into the BBC Radio One Live Lounge and putting in, as to be expected at this point, a great cover version of a popular song. This time it wasn't the Rihanna, or Gaga or even Cheryl Cole (which we heard Adele tear apart and do a roaring cover of just the other week). Instead the boys took on, but the hotly tipped Jessie J, and her tune "Do it Like A Brother". Take a listen to their rendition of it below adding some nice piano work at the intro with what sounds like an electric harp too! Nice touch guys. More indie than diva pop but overall a pretty nice rendition. Check it out and to pick put eh guys album you can simply head over in this direction.

[Watch] Jessie J - "Price Tag" Feat. Devlin Live on MTV

Check out Jessie J performing her new track, "Price Tag" which on the original version we got B.o.B dropping in on. As we saw the other day he also appears in the video, but recently Jessie performed for MTV 'Brand New for 2011' and in the performance UK act Devlin stepped up to the Mic to fill in the gap where B.o.B. was om the recording. Catch the interesting performance up at the top. No doubt we'll be seeing plenty more of Jessie this coming year and hopefully a little more of Devlin too. Enjoy.
