[Watch] Jane's Addiction - "Underground" (Official Video)

Check out the video from Jane's Addiction for their new single "Underground", in which the LA band have created a throw back to the 20's that's set in a brothel, naturally. In a statement Perry Farrel said "Expect an orgy of musical and visual delights. We like orgies, and hope you do too". See what you think of the so called orgy up at the top and expect more naked flesh on Friday when they release an explicit version of the video on Playboy.com tomorrow (Fri. 27th Jan).

[Watch] Janes Addiction - "Irresistible Force" x "Stop" Live on Jimmy Kimmel

Janes Addiction finished up their touring duties with a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on which they performed not one, but two tracks. The first track was "Irresistible Force" from their new album The Great Escape Artist. Fans were in for a treat though as the band also performed their classic track "Stop" to boot. Yes. That title is correct. Stop rubbing your eyes in disbelief, 'cos if what Brent Hinds has been talking about is true our ears are soon to be bleeding to the sound of a new band. Via Noisecreep and our buddy Sami at RiOB, apparently ex-Jane’s Addiction bassist Eric Avery, former Mars Volta drummer Thomas Pridgen and all around guitar shredder from Dillinger Escape Plan Ben Weinman, along with the aforementioned Brent are trying to coordinate putting out an album as a band. Thing is, here in the UK a quick train ride and you can be anywhere the same day but in the states it's a little more spread out and they're finding all being together in the same place to write stuff is pretty tough.

While talking to Noisecreep Brent said that they "tried to get together and do an album, but there’s been no time...We want to record crazy stuff and Ben is working on that, but it’s been hard to get together.” Quite frankly I think this sounds awesome, with all of the influences coming together into one colossal wall of noise and awesomeness this is surely to be a sweet release if it ever materialises (please someone make it happen!!). In case you were wondering on what name to keep a look otu for if they do put some material out it's Giraffe Tongue, the reason why? “they look sick” according to Brent. Fair point well made. I think the music will be ridiculously sick though. Keep your eyes peeled!

Chances are, you're not at work today. BONUS. If you are, be warned this new video from Janes Addiction probably isn't the best thing to be watching from your desk so either wait 'til you get home or tilt your screen away from co-workers eye lines accordingly. Hey, you may even be in one of those cool offices where you can just look at whatever you want, whenever you want, and have all of your colleagues come huddle around your little screen to see what the fuss is about. If so, kudos.

The video features some nice stop motion work on the slender naked frame of a young lady. The images cast on her body vary and are mixed in with some other cool shots of the band performing and other unusual things.
