Of course Mayer Hawthorne would do something as awesome as this. Mayer Hawthorne and James Pants are releasing a promotion 45" covering each others songs. Hawthorne is covering Pants' "Thin Moon" and in exchange Pant's will be covering the sexy ass Mayer Hawthorne tune "Green Eyed Love" Stone Throw Records have pressed a small number of these on 45 and we'll be giving away to the first couple hundred people that show up to the March 17 event 45 Live at SXSW (a collaboration with Converse & Wax Poetics). However, those unlucky people (like myself) may still be in luck as more might be pressed later.
