[Download] D-WHY - "Crave You" (D-WHY x Flight Facilities x Aeroplane vs. Friendly Fires)

We've had a few little summer jams from D-WHY over the past few months, we had the highly infectious "We Don't Know" and a cross over with Grimes in "Young Mariah". Today we get another new cut from him in the shape of him jumping on top of the pretty nice remix of Flight Facilities‘ "Crave You" by Aeroplane vs. Friendly Fires.

As we've mentioned before, D is preparing a new mixtape called, Don’t Flatter Yourself, this however won't feature so get your fill in prep for the tape drops.

[Listen] SBTRKT Visits Radio One's Live Lounge

We like Friendly Fires and we like SBTRKT so when they said they were to team up it seemed like only good things could come in the future. Now is the future, kind of. We don't have the full collaborations just yet but in BBC Radio One's Live Lounge, SBTRKT debuted a reworking of Friendly Fires' "Blue Cassette". As well as that whilst in the Live Lounge he performed an awesome rendition of "Hold On" taken from his impressive debut. Peep them both below via the ever wonderful Young Turks.

[Listen] Nero - "Live Those Days Tonight" (Friendly Fires Cover) Radio One Live Lounge

Today's guest on the ever famous Radio One Live Lounge was Nero who you may remember we posted up in June when they created a Drum and Bass orchestral piece with the help of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. Today they didn't have an orchestra with them to create huge sound just the gear and Maida Vale studios. They put in a cover of the Friendly Fires track "Live Those Days Tonight". You can stream the re-worked version below which is a building . It was only two weeks ago that Friendly Fires were in the live lounge themselves covering Lady Gaga.

[Listen] Friendly Fires - "Edge Of Glory" (Lady Gaga Cover) Radio One Live Lounge

Friendly Fires were the musicians stepping into the Radio One Live lounge today and they brought with them a fun cover of Lady Gaga's "Edge Of Glory". Putting an indie pop cowbell twang to Gaga's lead single from her recent release. Friendly Fires do well to make it their own with weird synth tones and a cow bell filled drum beat. It'll make you want to get up out of your office chair and dance. Nothing against Gaga but I actually prefer this version for a feel good summer vibe. These guys seem to bring the sun with them wherever they go. It could just be the bad shirts though.

Check out the cover below and if you like the vibes on this track you may like their recent album, Pala, which is jam packed full of 'em. It's available to purchase over here just in case you were wondering.

[Watch] Friendly Fires - "Hawaiian Air" (Video)

Following the release of Friendly Fire's new album Pala, which if you haven't grabbed a copy of the album you can do so over here. It's a great summer listen for that feel good, spark up the BBQ and get the friends round and have a brew. Speaking of summer, check out the visuals for their single "Hawaiian Air" which sees the boys on a plane in transit to the hot islands of Hawaii. Looks kind of sweaty and it also looks like the flight was pretty stressful! Long story short though, they make it and the views are delicious.

Check it out at the top and get jealous of the fact it's raining otuside your office window! Just me?! Dammit!
