[Listen] Lupe Fiasco - "Stereo Sun" Feat. Eric Turner
Sound familiar? It should. Check out the original version of "Stereo Sun" featuring UK singer Eric Turner which was cut from the original LASERS album and given later to UK emcee Tinchy Stryder. I'm still partial to Tinchy's version over Lupe's but i'll give it sometime before I make a final judgement of who kills the track more. Check out the track below and is it me or does anyone else think that the original LASERS album > than the final product?
[Listen] Lupe Fiasco Drops By BBC 1Xtra And Freestyles Over 2 Kanye Tracks, Lil Wayne & The Prodigy
Lupe Fiasco dropped by Westwood and DJ Semtex's show on BBC 1Xtra this week to talk about his upcoming album L.A.S.E.R.S., the Atlantic situation, Fiasco Friday and more, as well as dropping a few freestyles on both shows. While on Westwood, Lupe did 2 off the top freestyles over Kanye and Jay-Z's recent hit "H.A.M." and then flipped a few verses over Birdman and Lil Wayne's "Fire Flame." The next day on Semtex Lupe brought along UK emcee Sway DeSafo discussed the album some more as well as their collab "Break The Chain" and also revealed that did a collabo with Eric Turner and Tinie Tempah which will appear on Eric Turner's upcoming album.
But Westwood wasnt the only one to get an exclusive Lupe verse, Lu kicked a freestyle over Kanye's massive track "Monster" along with Sway and at the end of the show Semtex premiered the track "Girls" which lupe drops a few rhymes over the classic Prodigy track. Shouts to The LupE.N.D. Blog for the hook up on the info and tracks. Check them out below. L.A.S.E.R.S. drops March 8th, preorder here.
