[Watch] Eagles of Death Metal & Jack Black on The Gorburger Show

Until earlier this year I had absolutely no idea what the hell The Gorburger Show was and what it entailed. Having seen a preview of it earlier in the year I've been keeping an eye out online and watching clips intermittently. It's pretty entertaining stuff. This morning while sipping on a cup of tea in the office I noticed Antiquiet had posted a video of the show featuring Eagles of Death Metal including Josh Homme and Jack Black. What's not to like? Check out the ridiculous interview above. After that it even features a performance of "I Only Want You" by EODM. 

[News] Say Hello to Boots Electric

I'd noticed Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal had been hanging with Travis Keller of Buddy Head a lot recently and now I know why. Jessie has launched his solo project, Boots Electric, who's first release will be a 12 inch vinyl single via Miracle Records which has been started up by Travis aka the man behind BuddyHead.com. Awesome news huh? There's also a pretty cool interview between Travis and Boots over here if you want an insight into the life of Jesse.

[Watch] Alain Johannes - "Return To You"

Having played in numerous bands over the years with the likes of Queens of The Stone Age and Desert Sessions, Alain Johannes is finally releasing a solo album. Spark will be released on October 5th, head on over to his official website for up-coming tour dates. Above is a video of Alain performing "Return To You" at the Brian O'Connor Benefit on the 12th of August at which he, and Alex Turner with The Last Shadow Puppets, played surprise sets sandwiched between Eagles of Death Metal and Queens Of The Stone Age.
