[Watch] City & Colour - "Fragile Bird" (Video)
Last week a behind the scenes video appeared online showing details and snippets of Dallas Green's new video for his single, "Fragile Bird" which is to feature on his new album, Little Hell for his stage moniker of City & Colour. You can now enjoy the video up at the top which features a little bit of flesh flashing and a few nipples, so you have been warned. It also has a little side story to go alongside the more electric routed track Dallas has gone for. Dallas said the video is "taking the idea of like a tormented woman, and we sort of turned it into like a dark, kinda sexy, spooky vibe". So see if you think the final result hits the mark.
I'm looking forward to seeing what else he has to offer in the shape of tracks from the new album, Little Hell, will hit stores on June 7th. If you missed it last week he announced a string of UK dates for June and July. Be quick though as tickets went on sale today!
[News] City & Colour Announce UK Shows
Dallas Green is soon to release his much anticipated new studio album under the moniker of City & Colour. The album, titled Little Hell will hit stores on June 7th and if you missed it, we have already had a preview of a couple of tracks which you can give a listen over here.
Today comes news of Dallas announcing a few more UK live dates which is a nice surprise as earlier in the year he played just one London show. Much to my disappointment as getting to London on a weekday is like walking to the moon. It just aint gonna happen. The dates he's announced are set for June & July around the time of his performances at Hop Farm Festival and Glastonbury. Check 'em out after the jump and grab your tickets quick before they're all snapped up!

[Listen] City & Colour - "Northern Wind" x "Fragile Bird"
Dallas Green is set to release his third solo effort under his alias, City & Colour, later this year in June. The album goes by the name of Little Hell and today we have a nice few previews for you guys to give a listen to. First up is his new track "Northern Wind" and then not only do we have that for you to enjoy but a second track from the album, "Fragile Bird".
If you're familiar with Dallas' previous works these tracks will be a nice listening experience for you. "Northern Wind" is along the lines of what we have come to expect from him with acoustic guitars mixed with vocal harmonies that will send a chill down your spine. A few neck hairs may even stand to attention. "Fragile Bird" is a more electric bluesy guitar feel, and even has a little solo mid way through too! Both are a great listen though. Give both tracks a listen or two below and look out for his new album, Little Hell when it hits stores on June 7th. You can pre-order yourself a copy over here to make sure you have it straight away upon release.
[Watch] Dallas Green Covers Adele Live in London
Dallas Green recently played a one off show in London for his fans at the Royal Albert Hall. With the show selling out in minutes he brought along his repetoire of acoustic sing along music as well as this cover of Adele's "Hometown Glory". We've seen a huge number of covers for Adele's material following her launch into the stratosphere and reign at the top of the charts the world over with her sophomore album, 21. However this is a nice change from the tonne of "Rolling In The Deep" covers we have seen. An older track from young Adele covered by Dallas on the big stage.
Speaking of "Hometown Glory" remember that awesome High Contrast remix from a few Summers ago? Great listening for when the sun is out. Give it a spin below.
[Download] Shad x Dallas Green - "Live Forever"
Yesterday CoS premiered a brand new track from Dallas Green, the guy behind City and Colour and the non screamer in Alexisonfire, and Canadian Hip Hop artist Shad. Titled "Live Forever", it's a pretty deep track that see's Dallas' vox being used nicely in the Chorus against the back drop of Shad's rapping verses. Put together the result is very nice and I must say I like it. This is the first track from the pair's “Two Songs” 12-inch vinyl which will benefit Skate4Cancer. Head on over to Consequence of Sound to download the track and listen to it for yourself.
